Escalations since Rhea

Wasn't able to find anything regarding that topic yet, so i just open a thread by myself.

Is it just me or do all Escalations you get through High-Sec now force us to travel far into the Low or even Null?

Got 2 Sansha's Command Relay Outpost so far (one 9 jumps away into low-sec, the other one 21! jumps away into 0.0) and an Sansha's Nation Neural Paralytic Facility which is 34(!) Jumps away in 0.0 space.

Usually they are like 4-8 jumps away and don't lead into Low/Null
According to the wiki, they arent even meant to be found in Null-sec space.

Sometimes i like to move out of WH-Space to do some High-Sec exploration, without carrying to much about checking d-scan for other players... it would be pretty annoying if CCP thought its cool to take that away...
Especially since i bet they didnt even gave a single thought about upgrading the loot within those, so the income would be far to low for moving into Low/Null for them...

I seem to be going further but that might a result of the jump drive changes rather than actual escalation mechanics. I basically have to walk everywhere now.

Less competition, equals less sites run, equals less dropped module supply, equals increasing dropped module value, equals better long term income for you.

Having said that - it is probably a coding glitch that will be sorted when Rhea 1.1 comes out on Friday.

Its 3. All i got so far. And since they are pretty rare, would still suck if its just 50% of them.

And above 30 jumps? Seriously?

Might be true but like i said, High-Sec exploration is something for me to kinda relax.
No matter how high the prices go then, wouldnt be any help for me since i can go back to WH then, same stress+better income...

Hope its really just an glitch, like you say

can confirm I keep getting the same with Fleet Staging Point quite often.
Had like 5 out of 10 escalations go thru 4 different regions from rat system to last part system.

There is meant to be a cap on the number of jumps. So Bug Report it. And if it's really a bug they will fix it.

I actually had this happen most of last week, not just today

got 7 escalations three days ago, none of which were LESS then 15 jumps away, spent most of the day after flying between them, with a fast ship..

maybe the amount was lucky, maybe it was a bug too, but the distance was a little annoying..

As for the OP question, I got one today, it was 2 jumps away and in LOL sec, a system I know and one I know you don't run PvE in. That has been my pattern on every escelation and why they are pretty much just more pop ups I ignore.

Well, i have to admit that i totally forgot about the shortest route option.
So they are within the 10 jump range now...

Sadly it doesnt change the fact that they are in Nullsec, totally not worth it...

After the Rhea patch?

Still sucks that they put some into null, but atleast a little hope that there will still be a some in high.
