What are test servers? Are they like training servers where you can fly whatever and test fits without penalty?

Everything through t2 is cheap. Faction, deadspace and officer stuff varies substantially in availability.

You also occassionally get to play with much more impressive toys than normal if there is a test event which requires capitals, faction/deadspace stuff, etc.

It's where the devs post in-development stuff for us to mess with before it goes live on Tranquility. Almost all the stuff we just got in todays patch asn been beat up on Singularity for the past month.

They copy over your character from TQ to Sisi every now and then and you still need the skills to use things. These copies might be from weeks or months ago depending on when you login.

the test server singularity is there for ccp to do mass tests on upcoming features and content patches,
its open to the public because they need us to participate, find bugs and provide feed back on changes they make to the game before it goes live on tq and everyone loses their **** over something that could have easily avoided ,
now people will lose their **** regardless but that doesn't detract from the merit.

In other words, Singularity is like a month behind Tranquility. The skills you had this time last month are the skills that you'd have right now if you were to download singularity and log on tonight/today.

Actually it's always running a patch ahead of tq

Aren't your Sisi SP like a month or two behind your TQ SP, depending on when it was updated last? The one or two times I logged in way back when was right after i'd skilled into a Curse on TQ, and I distinctly remember still being like a month away from being able to use it on Sisi.

Thats all I meant.

The last mirror was the 25th I think,
the only reason your sskills used to be short was because the que restrictions .
youre toon would have been mirrored since then with the current unlimited cue and provided you haven't altered it on tq then it'll be the exact same.
