One thing that is a bit annoying during regular usage:

I usually have tripwire open both on IGB and an outside browser and I have set the outside browser to follow the ingame system automatically.
If I am in a wormhole with a bunch of K162 and I enter one I get the popup asking me which one I entered (90% of the times I forget which one it is but that's not the issue I'm talkin about, what about a button to tell the app which one I'm about to enter?), the problem is that I don't get much time to choose the signature because the page reloads to the new system after a few seconds anyway, leaving the hole unlinked.
Right now the only solution is disabling the auto-follow option before jumping into the new system but perhaps could the page wait until the hole is actually selected before jumping to the new system?

Working on a fix for this, hope to delay the auto-follow page change until ANY open dialog window is closed. Expect a fix soon.

I am planning to go on longer w-space trip and want to keep some sort of diary/map. I have tried tripwire few times,

but I dont know how to setup external browser to follow my movement. Ingame browser works nice, but it closes on me far too often. Also is it possible to save the routes for later? I seem to start from scratch everytime I log into this tool.

To make an OOG (external) browser follow your in-game jumps you will need to have an Tripwire logged into the same Tripwire account with IGB as OOG and with the OOG turn on the "auto-follow" feature located in the top bar. You should see the name of your current in-game system and next to that the ">>" button which toggles this feature.

Your signatures are stored for whatever time frame you set them to or what the max life of that wormhole type should be. If you don't use Tripwire for a few days all wormholes will be auto-deleted because none last longer then 48 hours.

Tripwire isn't going work well to track your entire journey in one large map, I can't even think of how you would do it.

Rhea changes to Tripwire are complete.

This includes the 100 new systems + Thera and all wormhole effects.

Only missing data is the class for the 25 "Frigate" wormholes (Class 1-3) and Thera and all static connections.

Classes are missing because those systems have a different class then any other wormhole and I have yet to know what to call them.

I will try my best to add statics as they are reported. Hope you enjoy Rhea!

New wormholes types have been added.

Mass and life are just guesses for now.

Hey Daimain, very nice looking tool i have to say! i like the features and appreciate the high level of server security you've implemented.

its not server security im concerned over though, its data handling and how much power registered admins have or can have over the data that their users submit to the server.

id be much happier using and requesting others to use this tool if i can be confident that the data stored is not being duplicated off somewhere and that i can delete data stored on the server related to my users (and possibly have the server secure wipe free space in periods of low server usage)

i know thats may possibly a fair amount of feature requests but i think itd go a long way to making security conscious users feel happier in trying out and ultimately using and requesting others to use your service.

Hello and thanks for the kind words :)

Part of the corp admin feature of Tripwire will be the ability to oversee corp mates accounts, when these features are added depends on what the majority of people are asking for.

The requests I get for changes, features or fixes directly impacts what I work on next. Sounds like voodoo but I'd like to get a system in place so there is more visibility regarding this process.

Tripwire Patch Released!

A new feature with this patch is the addition of EvE-Scout's Thera chain via a new chain map button.

EvE-Scout is the first candidate for a new Tripwire API system, they are using Tripwire for scanning and then updating the EvE-Scout website via a Tripwire API call built just for them. They are also allowing all Tripwire users the ability to see their hard work.

Am I understanding the Thera feature right? It seems as though private corp additions stack onto the eve-scout data? We can modify/delete our own signatures but not the eve-scout derived ones? Great addition if so.

if i get the idea of the eve-scout API pull, does it only pull data that private groups have assigned to be part of eve-scout? or pull all data collected from WH chains, or all data about chains referring/connected to Thera?

EvE-Scout.com uses Tripwire to do their scanning using a unique custom mask. This mask is what the eve-scout API pull is accessing. No other Tripwire user's data is ever accessed.

okay cool so i guess the mask is designed to only allow data on WHs to be accessed thats directly related to Thera then?

Yes, only Thera wormholes. No other sigs are being shared by the EvE-Scout.com group at this time.
