Would love to post opinions in the "relevant thread",unfortunately its down.Unreadable and unpostable.Haha.Rhea ui is nasty eye hurting.I cant deal with the transparency it really is pain inducing.On a bright side it'll cut my gaming time right down.

The only pain it's giving me right now is watching that download bar sloooowly fill up.

I hate my ISP.

You can adjust the transparency and disable the blur. Reduces eye strain and if you keep a lot of windows open turning off the blur will improve your frame rates (even with transparency set to 0). Looks basically the same as it did before patch, just with preset color schemes.

Being on limited bandwidth and out of office for two days means I get to be sad panda and not update until Thursday.

So threads about Rhea are all I will have.

On the upside I don't do a lot of "daily patching".


How big is this release, BTW?

I love whats happened to the graphics. For a long time I have been using hi-end GPUs to squeeze the best out of this experience.
But no matter how powerful the hardware was, I could never get rid of much of what I refer to as "shimmer." The tendency of unrealistic flicker along vertical and horizontal lines. Most everything else was quite satisfactory.

When I got in today and began examining surface texture and details, I'm delighted to say that, at least for me, almost all of this annoying phenom has disappeared. The only place I still see a little of it is in a few corners of Minmitar interior stations. It's virtually gone. This may not seem like a big deal to many, but I'm really pleased. The ships look outstanding.

Who would of known that CCP actually hired JJ "lens flare" Abrams for this one. How about adding next as a feature a brightness setting.

I doubt this is your ISP's fault, as I have a superfast connection and the bar moves sloooooooooooowly!

EDIT: ha, closing the login screen during download and starting it again somehow accelerated the whole process tremendously.
