Can't thumbs up forum posts

For the past week or so I haven't been able to thumbs up/like any forum posts. Sometimes the thumbs up button and likes count just isn't there at all, sometimes there's a bubble telling me how many other people have liked the post but nolittle thumbs up for me to click, and sometimes I see the thumbs up button but it is not clickable.

I don't have any browser add ons installed that I haven't had for months and it worked fine up until a week ago. Any idea what's happening?

Sounds like a privacy-addon, corrupt cookie or even broken browser profile. Try these in order;

There is a high possibility that you enabled "remove social network like and share buttons from web pages" in Adblock Plus, which causes the same effect you described. Disabling social network like button list from ABP solves the problem.

If you're sure that none of "privacy-keeper" add-on is the problem, then try the following:

- Clean your browser cookies
- Re-login with your favourite browser and try again.
- If above doesn't work, make sure you log-out and then log-in again.
- If still doesn't work, try switching to a different browser and try again.
- If it works now, re-check installed add-ons on your main browser.
- If no add-ons, then re-install browser.
- If still doesn't work and you're using 3rd party firewall software, make sure it is not blocking any scripts (some firewalls has the option for it)
- If still doesn't work and you're not using 3rd party firewall software, make sure your hardware firewall (in your switch) is not blocking javascript or alike.

Brilliant, it was indeed the social network option on ABP. All fixed now, thank you! :)
