Damn it. I've posted this in the official feedback thread weeks ago, and it still is not fixed. Only few days left till the release date.

p.s.
And now look at this http://i.imgur.com/5OyZ1AP.jpg (the window in the center is just to compare with the screenshot above).
You can see that old transparency is still soooooooo much better. It means the transparency changes are too raw and unfinished to be released.

there is a checkbox to turn off blur. duh. it is a very clearly labelled.

terrible posts like this are the reason that it is hard to communicate with the devs about test features.

So what? It's not an upgrade anyway. 1st, HUD should be visible with any transparency, or it's not transparency. 2nd, we had ability to separately switch transparency of each window. Now we can do that only if we turn blur off. If I want to have blur for 5 windows, and good transparency for 2, and no transparency for 1 - I can't. Functionally there's no upgrade at all. Non-transparent transparency of blurred mode is at least very arguable.

About "communication with the devs". Instead of being happy about every new shining feature I prefer to be harshly critical. Because 12 years of monopoly in the genre made ccp too self-confident.
