Expeditions - no loot drop common?

I just wanted to ask because I remember reading something about loot tables being changed for the final boss NPCs, is there a large chance (or even a small one) of the final rat dropping nothing or is it a bug? Specifically Sansha's Powergrid.

There's a reasonably high chance you get nothing, yes. Looks like that chance is lower than it used be (based on a small sample size) but it's definitely there.

I have done a few of them and about 50-60% have been totally empty. That being said the Faction Rats in he parts before are normally fairly generous.

Most of the time I don't do the final stage as its takes way longer than the previous stages and has a worse drop rate, also the system I have to go through to get to the Null systems it always spawns in is often camped.

I once got a small C-type RR, but that's it from 15 or so expeditions. I'm generally not the luckiest person.

They're still usually fun to do, and there's one Serp expedition that was actually really challenging for my ships.

It no longer forces you to go to null. There is a chance it will end up there, but it isn't 100%.

I don't do a whole lot of exploration, but I remember getting more loot from the bosses in the middle than the end boss.

The last Trap? expedition I did dropped nothing. At least it was in High Sec this time.
