Iwantisk.com needs to make it right after tonight.

First I'll say that iwantisk.com and the folks who run it usually do a class act job, and I know form participating in the streams that Iron Bank is a VERY VERY generous guy, and I know that he's a GOOD guy, but man, when youre wrong, yhoure wrong, and when you start getting angry at people for trying to tell you that, you're wrong again.

So, the LITTLE issue first:

The site kept bogging down and crashing last night. I lost around 20M on a raffle card because the site took my money, but bogged down and never put me on the card. I kept refreshing and clicking and nothing ever happend. I logged out, back in, etc. I mentioned this on twitch, and asked if maybe there was a tech support I could mail about it, he says "aw no man, just convo isk iron bank," so I did. He then starts complaining on twitch about ppl convoing him What?

OK no biggie, 20m is pocket change, it;s the attitudfe I got after doing as he asked. Maybe I should have known not to convo him right then, and I accept that, but dont be a douche about it.

The big deal, the last 2 raffle winners didnt get their prizes. For like an hour several of us kept telling him he didnt pay the last 2 winners. One was really classy about it, and the other one wasnt bqad either, just kjept posting his name.

Here's a screenshot I got of the 2nd winner telling us not to keep posting on his behalf. Class act guy:

I hate to call iwantisk out on this, but like I said, wrong is wrong. Somebody in the chat channel said to me "havent you ever been drunk?" Yeah, I'm a recovering alcoholic, so I dont need to hear "well he was drunk so its all ok" anymore. Never worked for me when I was trashed all the time, shouldnt work for anyone else, either.

I just hope things are made right for the 2 rqaffle winners. I dont care about my paltry little loss, I care about the attitude when I did what he told me to do.

EDIT: Changed the name of the thread to be a little less harsh.

Ever considered that its a scam website?

Modus operandi: generally pay people their winnings, but once every few cycles, rob people. As long as majority of people get paid, the few who got ripped off will be drowned out and ignored.

Not a bad scam.

Posts like this are just another reason why out of game isk transactions/manipulation/gambling should not be allowed.

I only know of those sites from right click -> block when people post advertisement on local chat.

Also, I do want to say: Because of the results of the big big draw or whatever they call it (and also some ppl prior to it) some folks have been accusing iwantisk.com of being rigged.

I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT.

Like I said, iron bank seems like a genuine and nice guy to me, and he does hand out billions worth of prizes often. This is just an issue of one bad night when alcohol was involved.

I would like to have the same sort of publication on the house cut on things like Iwantisk.com and EVE-bet as you get in real life. It would likely reduce the number of people claiming they are scams, acknowledge that they are rigged in such a manner as to ensure the house at least breaks even and also let people make an intelligent choice of where to bet if the odds are the biggest draw.

Only site Id actually gamble at would be an actually CCP organized site which will never happen. Blocks to all the rest. Eventually someone will turn it into a scam if it isnt one to start with waiting for enough isk.

Iron is honest and will when he wakes most likely sort it there was at least 4 he missed btw but Iron is golden he doesn't have to do **** but does

around 30% but that goes to cover the double and triple wins that people forget about so all in all there cut is around 2%

CCP can't as it would break so many law as they would be selling the plex's that a lot of people use to gamble with
one thing 99.9999999% of the people that scream fail scam and so on forget is no one makes you gamble

Well that's good then. I was worried because idk how ppl who won could prove it. My little issue is just dust in thewind Im not worried about it especially, just sorta ruffled my feathers.

As Ive already said, iron does seem like a genuine good guy, just... booze man, it does it to ya sometimes.

Gambling sites are a scam. The most successful ones are the ones that scam without ever telling a single lie or breaking a single promise.

Better to take 3% of ten trillion ISK than to take 100% of ten billion.

I find it hard to read your post OP. The letters are all ones I know, and even some of the words made sense, but in the end all I got from it was, "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA someone took my imaginary money!!!!! I want it back!!!!! WAAAAAAAAAA."

You must have found it REALLY hard to read, because everyone else here read that I wasn't concerned about my issue, I was concerned for two OTHER PEOPLE who won and got hosed.
