If you have ever been in a WH mining gas or seen ppl who do, it is rarely a large fleet.

Yep. Prices will drop again - just speculation.

Wrong. For all those living behind the moon, t3 subs(and hulls) require more gas since last patch.
We might not have reached the peak yet, since there are still some pre-patch stacks on the market and not being produced currently. + confessor coming soon.

Ah it becomes clearer now, I noticed a lot more moving around this weekend and that the price on the killboard was considerably different than the market. Pirate

Speculation. Sure more gas will be needed for the hull/sub changes and the new destroyers, but at the same time, there is a great deal of gas that goes unharvested in wormholes-- the supply side is there if the needs really press against it. Maybe in for a longer term bump, but nothing remotely close to the current spikes.

the possible supply is indeed there, but since mining low-end gasses aren't worth that much in terms of isk/hr in wormholes they largely go untouched by people actively looking for it.

they will definetly influence the price ceiling (threshold for profitablity / people that'll bother mining the junk), if this price hike isn't complete speculation you might be looking at the new norm instead
