T1 Frigate for L4 Recon 3 of 3?

Was wondering if anyone has a tech 1 frigate fit for the Level 4 Recon 3 of 3, pref minmatar

A quick search found this post, but in JAN 2013 so I'm not sure if its still relevant. This was the posted fit:

imma give it a shot cause: "meh, its a t1 frigate". but all the same if anyone has a t1 frig fit they use on a regular for this it would be appreciated.

I usually use a shield extended stabber, but that was from years ago when it was the best way, not sure now if its as efficient or not.

the slasher fit still works fine as long as you don't wait around too long. personally, i have moved on to a dramiel because of the faster warp speed. an interceptor would probably work even better, but i'm not sure i want to waste the SP on my mission chars.

edit: depending on your fit and high speed maneuvering skill level, you may arrive at the gate in the middle of your second mwd cycle, which is pretty annoying. just a random thought.

I should buy an Ishtar.

I tried in a crow for lulz a while back fitting random stuff I had from loot. looking at it in EFT that slasher fit has more EHP, a bit more speed, and better agility.

so I'd say that slasher will work.

so yeah it works still very well, but i also moved to a dram like daniel said.

Thanks all for the replies + a shout out to Ploing for chiming in.

@daniel and ploing, I didn't realize the price on the dram had gone down as much as it did. I'm going to give the above a go to get a feel for it, but at 45ish mil I think I may pick up a few drams

Note anything that can fit an MJD will jump 20 km past the gate meaning you only need to cover 20km before completing the mission instead of 60km. (in part two the MJD jumps you directly to the gate out and mission complete)

Doesn't really help with a T1 frigate fit of course.

just do it. with warpspeedrigs on the dram you also got a nice travelfrig with 13 au. bit faster than a ceptor.

just an update, used the slasher fit, had ~50% shields by the time i got through the gate. thing is a champ.

will purchase drams, playing in EFT with it now xD
