What is a Squid, one may ask?

Simply a lower form of Marine life.

I went USMC > Army. Also went intel to infantry...by choice.

It was a downhill slope, all the way.

Yuck. I would have done it the other way if I hadn't twisted my foot all the way around on a night jump.

Now that is a screwed-up way to get to work.

I mean really! So much more civilized to simply say into my mic "Driver, drop ramp...dismounts, get the f*** off my track!"

Plus, and this has always bugged me, when you have to parachute to work, where are you supposed to carry your sodas, porn mags, cigs and stereo?

To the OP, I hope you enjoy this school place you have joined.

always makes me wonder what it is about EVE that draws military types.

not that i'm complaining, a USAF sergeant taught me to FC. people tend to like my clear, concise, and calm FC style.

In a few moments you will have an experience that will seem completely real. It will be the result of your subconscious fears transformed to your conscious awareness.

I'm a big guy, so the biggest problem for me was cratering every time I hit the ground. Everything else was secondary...after I woke up from my brief "airborne catnap."
