Mass test on Singularity on Thursday, 4th of December, at 17:00 UTC

Hi!
We are planning a mass test on Singularity on Thursday, December 4th, at 17:00 UTC (= EVE time).

What exactly is being tested?
  • Ship rendering updated to Physically Based Rendering (PBR)
  • General stability and performance of client and server for Rhea


How to connect to Singularity for this test:

Test steps:

  • Meet in FD-MLJ, at the gate to X-BV98
  • Jump to X-BV98
  • Align to POS beacon
  • Warp to POS beacon
  • Shoot the control tower
  • Align to Poitot gate
  • Fleet 1: Jump to Poitot and setup gate camp
  • Fleet 2: Jump to Poitot + fight at the gate
  • Optional: NPCs?


What else should I know?
  • We will be moving players to the test system - join the channel massmoveme
  • 2M Skill points will be awarded on Singularity for this mass test
  • Bring many different ships.

If only the download connection wasn't so throttled I'd be there already.

I have 80mb/s download speed & I feel like I'm on dial up trying to patch my SISI Client :(

Thank you for participating in the mass test. We identified several important issues, and fixes are mostly already being deployed in the upcoming patch on Singularity within the next 1-2 hours.
