Trying to figure out the invention costs for some modules but the prices seem a bit high.

Take Rocket Launchers II, it takes 1 Nuclear Physics Datacore and 1 Rocket Science Datacore to invent.

I buy and sell in Amarr so I'll use their prices. Nuclear physics datacore minimum sell is 114,878 and rocket science datacore minimum sell is 211,073. With my skill my chance of success is 46.5%.

Adding up the cost of the 2 datacores you get 325,951 and divide that by 46.5% = 700,969.

What am i missing here? It costs 700,969 to invent a rocket laucher II but they sell for 368,000.

I know im missing something simple.

With modules you get a 10run bpc per invention.
In your example the cost to invent is 70k per launcher.

You get a 10 run BPC from the process, I suggest you take that into account in your calculations.
