Remap Stacking.

I've just claimed a bunch of Remaps as gifts.

Since they seem to be currently account bound, and I'm going to assume something you can redeem for a character from the redeem items box when you log in.

My cunning plan, transfer over a character, claim the Remap, transfer to next account claim the remap... repeat.

Thoughts?

Not saying I *am* going to do this, I'm ok for remaps currently, just saying it *could* be done.

Might be considered as abuse of the gift system. Like they told us with Quafe Zero.

You do realize the part that would have made it "cunning" is the part where:

A) You don't tell anyone

and

B) You don't essentially give CCP more money by "disposing" of extra plexes for them.

How can it be an abuse of a function that is perfectly legal? If CCP didn't want it to work that way why implement it that way..unless they didn't think their cunning plan all the way throughTwisted

Yo everyone, watch me pay the space equivalent of 40 bucks to get 20% faster space training times.

I'd pay 7000 AUR for a remap...

Please do not make CCP think there's support for a terrible idea like this.

PLEXes for remaps are a terrible idea because:

1) They put an in-game advantage (admittedly, a small one, but an advantage none the less) into the game world for no other reason, but having given CCP money.

2) Adding an extremely convenient way of getting them (spawning them for no reason but having given CCP real money) gives CCP an excuse to not add meaningful content to the game in the form of a gameplay mechanic that spawns them. For example, why not give the ability of giving players extra remaps to a "neuro-surgeon" mini-profession? This would be extra content, and open up new gameplay. We all pay $15 a month for gameplay, afterall. We don't pay for the privilege of paying further CCP to increase imaginary stats for imaginary space-people (unlike other games with pay-advantages).

3) PLEXes for remaps are not the same, in any way, as gametime for ISK transfers, or cash for character transfers. The ISK in the former example, and the characters in the latter example (along with all its skillpoints), were added into the game through the game being played by someone.

4) Giving in and letting a "small" MT like PLEXes for remaps into the game sets a terrible precedent for further advantage MTs in the future.

Please, do not let Crucible's good will keep you from being vigilant of the ever-encroaching MT threat.
