[PI] need visual feedback if a factory has product routed

Just lost a days production (again) after setting a new schema to a factory and routing the components to it, because the output wasn't routed.

We desperately need visual feedback if a factory has product routed or not without having to dig so deep in a hellish clicfest, it is too buried.

Like if the factory had a red ring or something to show its output needed to go somewhere after a schema was chosen. That would be awesome.

Or just make it default to the largest available storage for feedstock and outputs

Route your higher-tier outputs first. Make sure all the links have moving dots before you feed factories with materials.

those dots are TINY.. my mid forties eyes need something more obvious.. (yes I visit optician annually and script is current..)

and thing is I am not entirely convinced I didn't route them but that I did and they got erased..

Zoom in.

I can clearly see highlighted routes when i hold my mouse icon over a factory currently producing, highlighting where the produced items go to...

That doesn't mean having additional feedback like I suggested isn't a good idea.

If your eyes are failing you to the point where you can't resolve the animated dots (which is reasonable) then go for the change in colour between routed/unrouted links instead.

The dots and animation are *the visual feedback that you're requesting.

Just in your case, they aren't working.

*Yes, there's ambiguity between products leaving a factory and products being routed through a facility. The algorithmic work-around here is to work from your launcher/stores outwards.

What I think might be usual is configurable colours. Allow a bunch more contrast than what is currently there.
