Window to redeem holiday gifts?

I read the gift selections will become available on December 22. Do we have to redeem them on that same day, or within some other time frame? I ask because many players, including myself, may be traveling for the holidays and be unable to log on and get their gifts if the time frame is too limited.

I think you MUST redeem them BEFORE that date.

As in you can choose your gift any time from now until the 21st, then on the 22nd whatever gift you chose is made available to you and shows up in your hangar/etc.
