Burner mission loot, anyone get anything good yet?

I have completed about 5 burner missions and was just curious, has anyone had a faction or deadspace loot drop yet? It would be nice to know if a pilot or more has looted some nice stuff by now.

Of the 10 or so burner missions I have completed I once got a Sansha's Microwave S crystal. So.... yeah....

imo for it possibly being a highsec mission, that takes a minute or two to complete, that isn't all that bad.

nah. they are not worth it. you get better loot and bounties from a standard L4

Perhaps the loot and bounties are low but the ISK from L4s is contained largely in the LP and in the LP/hour category they are top notch.

Reality has an almost infinite capacity to resist oversimplification.

Haha, ouch. I haven't done any burner missions, and I really doubt I will after seeing their poor loot drops. Mabye I should just loot Keilateau ;-)

Just for your info:

I have found out, that at least in our region, this is sometimes a new method for a trap. If you find wrecks from players in mission sites or in signatures, be aware that this could be a trap. If you loot the stuff you become attackable for a limited amount of time by the owner of the wreck.

In our regionwide explorer channel - in which we have organized information sharing about Whs, travel infos, pirate site sitters, gatecamps and unused signatures and of course which players are pirating and therefor are to consider not trustworthy - this has been reported several times in the last 2 weeks, mainly in highsec sigs. Might also be the case, because they can now sit for hours in sites and no explorer ever passes by. Desperate enough they are in meanwhile, hehe.

I wasn't complaining. I think they are rather fun. And fun > ISK. However I do feel that the rewards are a bit low given the highly specialized training and fitting requirements needed to run them.

But based on Jenn aSide's post I may just be unlucky.

If there is a difference here between this and the normal way of gaining a suspect flag in high sec I'm not seeing it.

Also why would you consider pirates not trustworthy. Being aggressive and violent doesn't automatically make you a liar. As always use your head to determine how trustworthy someone is. Determining trustworthiness by sec status is probably one of the worst ideas ever.

ive done about 6 missions so far and got a domination 1mn microwarpdrive and some ammo from them.

I've done roughly a dozen, though I haven't kept an exact count, and so far I have gotten a single crystal of True Sansha Microwave S =P

I got a magstab and web drop off a serpentis burner. Personal best.
Average, over 40 or so burners is 29M/burner, with several lucky drops bringing the average up sharply.

Dropped a 1 run Succubus bpc from the sansha burner last night.

!st drop of any note in around 10 completed burner missions.

The Burner missions I've encountered got the same LP reward as World's Collide, The Blockade, The Score etc.

I run Burner missions in 0 sec for a pirate faction. I earn approximately 20k LP per mission (with security connections V) and they take me about 3 minutes each. As for drops I have at this point run literally hundreds of burners and the best drops I have received we just over 100m items like a shadow serpentis CPU or jsut under 100m like caldari navy shield boost amplifier. I get some faction drop around 1 in 10 burners it seems. mostly that drop is ammo though.

Burners are worth it. If you want to run them all it requires spec in multiple races of ships. I currently run all of them but the guristas and the sanshas. The teams I run in a garmur. and the pirates all get run in carefully crafted assault frigates.

From 10 burner missions I got so far :

1 RF Kinetic Armor Hardener ( 18 mil)

1 RF Overdrive Injector (100 mil)- I have a capture screen shotBig smile

Not bad for 10 burner missions done in an hourBig smile
