If this is at all true, than it means three things:

TL:DR version for anyone mildly curious, but not interested enough to read the post:

Amarrian Empress cloned herself and is possessed by some sentient AI.
Sentient AI is controlling her to get capsuleers to blow up sleepers.
Sleepers are not the bad guy.
Amarr Empire can't be trusted.

Also, some RP posts from some minmatar player.

Engage tinfoil hat:
Giant invisible station and ship in picture of space released by CCP
Sentient AI entity is controlling the empires to make us battle the sleepers
The humans are evil

6/10. Mildly amusing.

...awesome post!

Thanks for this awesome post and for putting it in GD too!
Had a really busy week and little time to keep up with all that's been going on; so having this with additional links to posts/pictures is a great source of info.

Hm, The quote from that screenshot comes from a Dust Chronicle called : 514 Where, in a clandestine meeting, Empress Jamyl urges the other empires to find a way to stop capsuleers continuing their genocide against Sleepers, because the sites, the technology and everything we find in the wormholes are the sleeper minds & worlds that we tear apart.
Failure to stop the capsuleers would awaken a threat & power far beyond ours...

Looks like Jamyl's words have become prophetic with the Sleepers returning to our space.

As long as we're still riding the hype train:

As I've read some of the other comments, and I re-read a couple portions of Templar One; I'm beginning to speculate that the Sleepers as a player race, would fit perfectly into the scheme of the "permadeath", "perma-suspect" pilots some we're discussing at EVE Vegas. It would tie in greatly to the lore, as well as allowing these "alleged" free to play accounts a starting point in Thera. All wild speculation of course, but it does fit elegantly.

“what was many now becomes one when one becomes four"

The races and factions of man unite against a threat to their very survival?

And the sleepers are not the simple automatons we have been fighting and not just a dead source of Implants and technology,

They are four powerful factions, and each group are preparing individual actions against their common adversary (us), whilst fighting for power and control within themselves too?

Others, sleepers, talocan and ????

And we always thought of them as a single wormhole entity.?

Interesting times indeed

Possibly

Omnious broadcast

Only one thing missing to make it really blow up: the identity of whoever broadcasted it, I suspect Hilen Tukoss, but not sure. And whom he talks about, possibly Sleepers, maybe Sisters? (Sanctuary, a Sister Division hates our guts & seems to be willing to separate from the Sisters in order to fight Capsuleers if they have to+ Thera has Sister stations)

This could also be the joining of the new eden universe. But as I am sure this prophecy came out before ccp thought of valk and legion, that that is most likely, the 4 empires combining to a single force.. vs... i'm going to guess us.

OMG Comet Mining idea!!! Comet Mining!

I'm joining the slightly cynical train. As much as a galaxy changing event would be nice, we've been here before with the incursions. It'll add a new game play element to the galaxy, but that'll be it. You know what I'd like to see? Systems burn and brought to waste. Holding actions by empire fleets to halt a big bad that is winning, and winning hard, till something as dramatic move along the lines of Admiral Yakia Tovil-Toba crashing his Chimera into Gallente Prime. Till the face of New Eden is irrevocably scarred and changed for the rest of the game.

It's not going to happen, I appreciate that, but occasionally the epic is missing outside of the player driven side of things.

After seeing what post-Carbon Jovians look like, I am filled with the desire to become one. Even if I don't get the ships.

That would actually be perfect- i love that idea! Some people were suggesting having the Jovians become the 'burner' clone race, but the sleepers make sense- they already have the knowledge of ships and can learn things instantaneous within their world through time dilation.

They could be planning and doing this to come into k-space and end the threat of the Other- I'm really into this idea Smile

Don't knock the lore/Storyline and RP.

Without it, this game would be "Muh Stats Online (with spreadsheets decorated by space ships)" and long forgotten.
