EVE: Source, is it a sticker or what?

Recently I bought EVE: Source (the regular hard back edition) at a local bookshop. When I came home and opened the book I found inside what I first thought was a sticker (Pic1, Pic2). "Cool" I thought and tried to put it on my computer. However when I had put the "sticker" on my computer case I tried to peel off the white back side. That didn't go so well as seen in the pictures...

Anyone who knows what is it / how to apply this thing? Ugh

I think you just tried to apply the book's anti theft tag to the side of your computer.

This looks like some radio chip for anti theft measures.

That "sticker" sure looks a lot like an over-sized RFID anti-theft device (tag).

That, or it's a Templar, an Amarr Fighter used by Carriers.

Nope, haven't seen any of those before this one. What? (Un)lucky coincidence that I had to see the first one in a book about EVE. The C-shape made me think of Caldari, thus the confusion.

Thankfully I now know what it is. Would be rather embarrassing at LAN-parties with an anti-theft thingy on my computer. Big smile
