I think that CCP had made a huge improvement to its software/game development method, has enaged the playerbase with real change that breathes new life into the game, and has been making some particularly shiny things. Bravo, CCP... and CCP Seagull!

BUT

Then I saw this monstrosity:
Interbus Moros

I think this must've gotten by the sentries within CCP responsible for lore. What in the nether hells would a faction/corporation devoted primarily to moving around civilians and mass market goods be doing with a dreadnaught... or any other capital ship, for that matter? Patently ridiculous, especially when said faction can't even be bothered to launch a station in its one-and-only system.

Surely CCP could have found a corp within the Gallente Federation of enough interest to players to hock a ship skin. I'm sure loads of folks would pony-up for a capital ship branded by the perennial favourite soft drink maker of New Eden, Quafe...

I think the ship looks incredible.

What is your problem with it?

It's not about the look itself... it's that the organization it's attributed to is highly implausible. AS I mentioned, Interbus can't even manage to build a single station... so why would it have capitals?

I like the yellow, but perhaps there is a Gallente corp that is more capable that is compatible with the colour scheme.

It's just a paint job they've designed, not an entire ship.

Interbus are just sponsoring ships for the glory and safety of the Gallente Federation, nothing wrong with that.

Quafe on the other hand are up to no good and are preparing for the Great Cola War.

interbus doesn't own any moros... it's an advertising scheme. just look around you, taxi cabs, bus stops, buildings facade, etc. all are painted/printed with advertisments.

there's also a rumor that interbus gave alot of monetary support to the FedNavy so this might also be an act of appreciation.

Yeah, after the revelation they were about to get royally sued.

But yeah, interBus uses combat ships like the Catalyst to of course defend valuable cargo and whatnot, but a dreadnaught?

Also, I DEMAND a Quafe Company Obelisk/Anshar.

The Interbus Moros isn't a corporate asset designed to advance the needs of the company and shareholders. It's an e-peen thing by the CEO (backed by a board of directors that isn't providing enough oversight and accountability.) You all are acting like this sort of thing doesn't happen in real life.

You see lore doesn't matter when artists go 'heh thats kewl' when designing a ship.

Same thing can be said about the SOE and the Nestor.

However, this is quite clearly the first sign of an InterBus uprising to take back all of the customs offices they have lost.
