Window settings / color settings gone again

Patched. Game settings exploded. I lost all my window size formatting settings. My overview is okay now, I just had to resize it. I lost my cool custom color job (a custom coolgrey) I had applied to and ALL MY WINDOWS are stacked again.

I talked to a few other people and they had the same problem. Why does this happen on patches?

Need stuff moved? Push Industries will handle it. Serving highsec, lowsec and nullsec - and we do it faster and more reliably than anyone else. Ingame channel: PUSHX

They fixed pinning ... so ... yeah.

Because CCP does not work under the same definition of the word "Excellence" that the rest of the world uses.

/they don't test their patches either

If there had been an ability to export settings, you'd have been able to recover your customizations more easily.

Please support: export of settings in editable format

2. CCP reimplement window pinning.

...
Using induction we can draw the conclusion that people whine about everything. Sounds about right.

Honestly, after setting up my settings for multiple accounts which takes for-*******-ever seeing them removed this morning made me a little mad.

Luckily I backed them up, but really, for **** sake man.

Edit: So copying them over didn't work. **** this game. Seriously. I'm done with resetting my windows.

So CCP, My window behaviour is back to what it was a few weeks ago so, well, thanks for 'fixing' it...

Rogue windows have arisen and are being pests though. If you cannot tame these windows without resetting everyones settings dont bother, but be aware that;

AttentionFleet composition window. - Does not stay stacked or remember any size/position details.

AttentionAgent mission details (as clicked from the journal, as opposed to starting conversation) - Does not stay stacked or remember size/position details.

AttentionMilitia window - Stacks and pins normally, but it its the first window to be opened in a stack its height is not the height of the other windows in the stack. It seems to force an arbitrary height.

I wonder how much booze they need to actually make something right in their life. Like making window positions save button, so we done spend 30 min rearranging them after each screw up.

I think the main problem here is that CCP don't realize how much a thing like this means to most of us. A proper announcement and instructions on how we can avoid some of the pain would probably help alot..
