Looking for new corp.

Recently left a corp, really wasn't going to work out. Now i'm in the market for a new corp.

First and foremost, I tried my hand at nullsec, and pvp and I am horrible at it. I just am not cut out for solo roam pvp, and the only pvp I would ever consider is fleet pvp. Even then I can assure you I am horrible at.

As of right now I want to focus on making money anyway before even thinking about any type of pvp. Now I can make money on my own as I have the skills for it. But I have little to no experience with most things, so doing things like wormholes, exploration, etc... I'm not sure of. I want to find a corp that does either incursions, or DED sites or does corpwide ratting or something to that effect. I CAN mine and I am able to pilot exhumers, but it's not my primary focus. I have aproximately 22m skill points and I hope to be an asset to whatever corp recruits me.

PS I do have an alt but its fairly new, only 1.5m skill points.

Jhante,

Prometheus Reborn may be the right fit for you. We are also in the game of making isk. Currently we regularly do lvl 4 missions for SOE but are looking to expand into other areas such as wormholes. We currently delve into a few wormholes now and then and i wouldn't mind teaching you the ropes. We are currently trying to grow so we can do more corp wide things and i would love to have you with us.

Yasuo

P.S. Myself and another member do some occasional mining as well, but mainly right now for my indy alt. I would love to have your help on that as well

Well, it entirely depends on how new your corp is and how many people you have in, and Im going to ask that they be skilled enough to fly ships that CAN do lvl 4's. This last corp I was in, out of the 8-9 people that were in the corp, only 3 of us were really capable of flying ships for pve, and/or pvp. I would end up ratting alone, and ultimately be SOL in the pvp front, as our corp was too new and the region we were under wasn't going to give us access to specific channels that would have been used to find fleets and whatnot. On top of that where we were based, the oly daily fleets there were, were only for mining bonuses, and when there weren't attacks from hostile players, I would be left alone to do my ratting sites and ended up just being boring. That is why I ATTEMPTED to do pvp. But I'm not cut out for solo roam pvp. I prefer fleet roam pvp. I have no experience in wormholes, or exploration, though I have subpar skills to find high sec sites, i have only done 2 relic sites in high sec. I don't have the cloak skills yet to do null, and even if I did I think i'd be too scared to do that as inexperienced as I am. That is the main issue here, I'm too inexperieced my skills don't reflect my actual knowledge, I mainly trained skills when I got bored of the game and ended up not playing for monthes at a time. All the while skills would train and well, here I am. I can't even do any lvl 4-5 missions sites simply becuase I have no standings in hardly any corp that will even allow me to use their mission agents. Either I'm going to have to start doing some lvl 1-2's or find a group of people that are doing lvl 4-5 just for standings. I don't even care about the money from that just to get the standings TO do the lvl 4 missions. And then theres if I have the right fit FOR those missions, but thats another problem I don't have to worry about just yet.

If you like fleet PVP, join Amarr militia. A player company will provide you with all the ships you need, along with fleet mates and so forth. You don't need a lot of skill points to be useful. Just be able to fit a microwarp drive and a warp scrambler, and you can tackle ships. All people do all day long in Huola is fight each other in fleets.

Once you join the NPC Militia corp, the 24th Imperial Crusade, they will put you on militia chat. Militia chat is really horrible, and they accuse you of being a spy. However, player corporations are always willing to grow their numbers.

Once signed on with a player corporation in factional low sec warfare, all your senior officers should be able to do level 4 Faction war missions, which pay way, way more than high sec missions. They raise your standings quickly too. They share the cash and loot with you. They teach you how to fly and fight.

However let me add this about Alts:

You should train up your two alts.

Train one as a Merchant/Hauler,
I consider this one like a squire, hauling all my gear around for me. An outfitter or delivery service if you like. You may be required to bring your own ships into battle at times. Keep this guy in the NPC corp so your enemy can't target him.

and the other as a Miner/Manufacturer, or a cyno alt scout.

When your main is in faction war, leave your Hauler alt in the NPC corp so they can carry your stuff around in high sec while you are at war. Trader skills and hauler skills are useful skills to put together. Arbitage trading can be very profitable, or trading between regions. Train refining skills, and offer to buy the ore off the miners, Refine ore. Use minerals to make your own ammuntion. It's handy to keep this around. Train salvage and look for salvage in low sec. Use a destroyer though, not a Noctis (in low sec). Rigs are made from salvage, easy to make, useful to have, and profitable to sell.

Your merchant hauler can be the hauler for your miner, and your PVP pilot could even be the defender, I suppose.

The miner/manufacturer can also be a missioner instead. Scouts are always handy to have, and require no training. They are 'eyes in the sky' that could be flying shuttles. However, an scout that knows cynosural theory might make a lot of friends with Jump frieghters from null sec. Well, potentially anyways.

I would say make the third a miner/ manufacturer. I still think it's interesting, even if it is to make your own ammo and rigs. So let's say a miner/ salvager/ manufacturer. It's potentially very profitable to be a manufacturer, but that is much later in the game. You can also sell them at Level 4 mission hubs. That might be a good way to make a deal with the people that run those hubs, asking to salvage their wrecks to their missions, offering to make and sell rigs for them.

Well the only main issue I have with the factional warfare is it really screws up my standings with the other alliances I'm fighting with, as well makes me a target at all times whenever I'm around ppl of the opposing faction. This makes farming for money an issue outside of the faction missions which I don't want to focus on solely either, I like variety :P. I don't know if there is money involved in warfare either. I generally like to keep my standings pretty even and clean across the board. I even go so far as to decline missions that give me missions where I have to destroy say Minmatar faction ships. Thank you very much for the idea though I had looked into this and was told by several people don't even worry about it unless didn't care to screw up my standings. And I think it's like constantly being war decced. Not sure I'm ready for that kind of drama.

Just a quick bump.

I am updating my ad slightly too.

I'm looking for pve opportunities to make money via pve mainly. Incursions definately pique my interest now after talking with some people so I am looking for a fairly big incursion type corp, preferably out of high sec, to run incursions, maybe lucky to get one in an alliance or something that do other things. I want to experience many different things, and focusing on one thing for too long tends to become boring for me. I don't have plans to do low/null sec at this time so I want to avoid those types of corps for now, I do plan at some point in time to maybe look into getting into small gang fleets as they seem a perfect fit for me as far as pvp goes. I looked into wormhole type corps but the disadvantage that kind of scares me is, corps whom live in WH space have no station they can fly to safely, and while they generally have a POS, I dont feel comfortable not having a station to fly to in case of trouble, unless theres some WH corps that live out in high sec and just go into wormholes etc... At some point in the near future I will be training for covop cloaks so I can use a decent cloaky ship to attempt my hand at relic sites but I have no experience with this either.

Also as I said before, I have about 22m skill points, can fly a variety of ships that include but are not limited too, the t3 amarr strat cruiser legion, exhumers for mining possibilities, amarr/caldari/soon gallente battleships but my t2 weapon focus right now is primarily pluse lasers. I can use t2 large pulse lasers and am focusing on getting my missile skills up. Hope this update helps a bit more. Looking forward to hearing more from you guys thanks!

This is not a bump, this is just to let people know who are interested in contacting me regarding a corp, I created my own placeholder corp so I'm out of the NPC corp. I fully intend to close the corp, or at the very least put it aside on a non-active alt on one of my 2 accounts so if I ever need to use it again for this purpose. This is by no means a way to spy or do anything shady. I have always had a corp like that so I wasn't in an npc corp. Can't be too careful in eve these days. I don't need to lose ships from same corp gankers just because they can. I still am looking for a corp all the same. Forgive the update but it's important.

Do Incursions, Join "Incursion Public" and probably warp to me is your best bet to get going, these are communities not corps, for the simple reason they run with almost anyone and therefor can actually field the fleets.

as for corp wide ratting... if this is actually a thing anywhere its laughable.

After giving it some careful thought. I'm looking into finding a corp living in WH space. High sec is too boring for me and though I know very little about pvp, I still want to try null sec again. So if there are any decent wh corps out there with room for a 22m sp pilot drop me a line!

Hey we are building up an alliance currently and looking for pilots like you who want to pvp and have a good time. We offer a great ship replacement program and actively fly ops with another +5blue alliance in our space. Its not WH space but its good.

I hope you find what your looking for.

Thank you for the offer, but I'm gonna try my hand at WH space. I've done the null pvp/alliance thing and I want to try everything I can to find out exactly what I want to do. High sec isn't doing it for me, null is nice but lets see what WH is like :). Again though thank you for the offer.
