uh... have you checked your account? I got a rorq skin, a free ship, and I think some other items form it. You should prolly check your account manager cause stuff is coming in via that

Oh you are right, I got a rorq skin, I always wanted a rorq skin. Can't wait for our next corp mining op, the guys will drop their jaws.

What gets me is the idea people actually take the time to dream up these things.
What I'd like to see is a brain implant that sets off a whirling amber light at the first
sign of a really ... (should I say it?) DUMB idea.

OP...yours wasn't the only one today (can we skin our ships like Star Wars?)
and, I'm sure it won't be the LAST. It just makes me go hmmmm?

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

So pretty much like that Loyalty Ranks thing the Dust Bunnies have on their game? That sure would be cool to have.

If only everyone wouldn't start rioting because it is mostly leveled by the amount of Aurum you spend!

What the op is asking is for the space station for 10 year vets to be released. They announced it back in 2012 or 213 but never materialized.

It never came to being because it honestly made no sense. Still doesn't. As a 10.5 year vet I just want a little banner on my forum pic that says vet. That would be enough lol

I think they should put a little banner that shows how many years a pilot has played. Just a small number in the corner but of course it only displays the number of years the players has been subscribed. Don't want someone who made a toon in 2004 but quit until last month to get a 10 year banner.

It would be nice if EVE online (a subscription based game) would had a customer loyalty program. Let's say, offering 1 extra subscription day / account / active year. CCP could cap it at 3 or 5 days. It would be small enough not to be a real advantage, nothing in-game would be hurt, but it would still mean that CCP is rewarding the loyal customers.

OR how about a Vet clothing line or accessories, like badges? Or Vet ship skins?

The gimmie-gimmies are out early, this year.

So.... I would get 11 free days... I've forgotten to put a new skill for longer than that. Doesn't mean much tbh. What would be cooler is a medal/achievement/reward/whatevs.

OH WAIT!!! DID SOMEONE SAY THE VETERAN STATION PROMISED FANFEST 2013...

CCP is rewarding the loyal customers, they are fixing the game.

Available to anyone who happens to join at this very moment in time, potentially a 1 day character, also known as an non-loyal customer.

Something to consider though is the crap they give us at Christmas or randomly on special occasions. Not really loyalty based sadly but kinda fulfils the criteria.

If brute force isn't working, you're just not using enough.

One of the reason CCP happily nerfs vet content is that their statistics show that a player that played for a few years (can't remember if it was 2-3) is unlikely to quit. Yes, we are quite a masochistic bunch it seems. What CCP forgets is that everyone has a limit of how much of it they will take.

They're a business not a spouse, they don't owe you a thing more than you pay them for.
yet ye get plenty and still ask for more.
and before ye go on about the vet station again, every one says **** they can't follow up on , everyone.
no one has been asking for more sand in the box , a tug boat ,direct control of your ship , ship Painting, better gfx and a better ui than the vets and that shirt effects everyone.

CCP give substantially more of a shirt than any other production studio their size , granted the duck up (regularly) but ye still have it ducking good.

Edit: smartphowend, no htc, I did not mean to say shirt...Or ducking...I never do.

You've obviously never dealt with telecoms companies in the UK, new customers get all of the things, existing customers get screwed.

Just switch between companies every year for the free stuff.

Yes i made a internal post few weeks ago about this. It seems odd the longer u play the more u pay. Atleast that part is settled now with the removal of pod cost, but loyalty ccp lp would be nice, for items that dont give u a pvp advantage. Several ccp people seen it and replied. So its mentioned, and out there.

Ofc nothing direclty planned, or to tell but its normal in rl to reward loyal customers as it makes sense in retaining ghem for your future income. Use your clients as your best marketing tool

i guess we should be happy with a medal or any not usefull object .

After paid (multiple) sub each month, trained long skill (and see our castle burn by dev decision); give us something that havent value and nobody else want .

I recieved more on amazon in 2year than eve in 8

there's so many thing to fix in eve.... and they fix forum ! GJ! but ok i like it !

No one should ever, ever, ever look to telecom companies for a good business model.

This idea is nothing new. The CCP marketing guy actually talked about that they are looking into a reward program for vets two years ago at fanfest. Just so far nothing happened.

I think Rhea's med clones fit the bill. Vets get to keep what they've paid for, free of jeopardy.
