Question about recent patch, can you still freely shoot corp members?

yes you can, what you are thinking about was mentioned in the csm minuets as something likely to happen but there has been nothing more said on the topic aside from tears and inflammatory comments.

The only thing that is likely to change is that your corpies are going to gank you with out of corp alts. If they are clever, they won't tell you they did it and keep the intel (and tears) going.

Remove standings and insurance.

It's an overstated problem. The benefits of joining a corp far outweigh the risk of AWOXing.

Just make sure you are in a corp with all -10 chars and you will always be able to freely shoot your friends.

What benefits? Unless you own structures or war dec people, you can accomplish everything you could in a corp with a group in game channel and 1 mann corps.


Removing awoxing won't change that, because wardecs are still a much bigger issue than awoxing.

It should be a corp setting, allowing people a choice. RvB has had wonderful valid uses for inter corp aggression such as balancing fights and FReen-for-all events.

In last week there was less than 20 cases of awox kills in high sec (where the limitation matters). Most of them are from RvB who live to shoot each other and except for maybe 1-2 cases the rest could easily been arranged 1v1 fights.

Awox and shooting new players who cannot defend themselves are 2 different things.

Please stop trying to associate the latter with awoxxing.

And yes you can and even if there was a change made as discussed, you still could do both things mentioned above.

Yes. There have not been any specific changes regarding intra-corp aggression mechanics announced, nor is there even a timetable for such changes.
