Thera is one unique system :D. it will be very interesting and lot of interesting stuff will happen.

Few suggestions on system
1) Switch stations from under Sanctuary to SOE corp; why this? because to install jumpclones you need standing with them or SOE alliance, now only way to grind standing for sanctuary is in single null system :/ and earning reputation with SOE alliance via storyline missions will be a long process. This will allow different corps have their members move to thera quickly and corps/alliance can have fun sub cap brawls.

2) interstation transportation by NPC
Why this? well whoever can camp the station controls that station and thats only station where items are stocked hmm how do i reship now? rather for a fee allow NPC to move stuff btw stations just in thera this shall allow all 4 stations to be used and allowing more fights to happen. So a situation is not like Jita 4-4 where u can find stuff in just one station and rest of station are just used to manufacture or store items. Yeah problem i described above can be easily solved by stacking same items in multiple stations but thats costly.

Other than that its a real nice addition.

If you really want it to work the way you envisioned it to you'll need to add like 20 stations and all of them 300au apart with several planets in between. You'll also need to bar all bubbles including dictor bubbles from the system.

So either you form a fleet to take that station's docking control, or you don't fly in the space.
Really that simple.

A lot of interesting changes. This change in particular caught my eye though:

"The twenty five Small Ship Shattered Wormhole Systems will have all the features of the normal Shattered Wormhole Systems, with the following additions:

All wormholes in or out of these systems will be small ship wormholes, meaning that only Frigates, Destroyers and Heavy Interdictors (Heavy Interdictors can use their bubble generators to reduce their mass) can enter.

These systems will all receive anomaly and signature sites appropriate for wormholes between class 1 and class 3, but will receive the system effects normally reserved for C6 Wolf Rayet systems (+100% armor hit points +200% small weapon damage, -50% shield resists, -50% signature size)"

Why the wolf-rayet effect? These systems are already restricted to small ships, this just boosts non-drone armor frigates and leaves the rest of the ships in the dust.

Cant see how the new systems are a good idea. Eve clearly has less people playing at anyone time then it did in the recent past (remember when ccp used to crow about how they were hoping to set a record for online players?) and now they are going to be spread out even more? And its difficult enough to get folk to leave high sec to mine ice, does anybody really expect folk to go into systems with all the risk of wh space and no place to either pos up or dump their ore? The risk involved clearly doesnt equal the marginal benefits being in such space.

Thera also smacks of gimmickry. Its feels like ccp has finally caved to those folk that want battle zones but just cant quite go all the way.

I don't play, I just fourm warrior.

How about some occasional random visits to the stations by small bands of sleepers who will gladly harass station campers or anyone trying to undock for that matter. Perhaps after a time they will warp away if no one kills them.

Maybe even more rarely a large sleeper force will show up and lock down a random station. This could be broadcast as an emergency on the local channel requiring capsuleer assistance. These large forces could comprise more advanced sleepers than currently exist in WH space and would require an organized fleet to take down.

Going to second proto burger.

People have successfully lived out of mobile depots or Orcas In w-space for years. You can keep a lot in an orca. All you need are a couple of accounts or a friend or two. Plus, you could keep surplus ships in stations and dock when the coast is clear. Easy-peasy.

Very cool, I like it.

The system might even be large enough to live in a yurt there and not get caught immediately.

Attention I have just one issue: I can't put anything in the depots. Has this been disabled in Thera? Or is this a general feature of the test server? Or a bug?

Thanks, Chira

Following on from a comment above, I think they should go one further... allow ANYONE to create jump clones.

Grinding PVE to be able to PVP is not a good mechanic. Heck, even if you only allow it in this one system it will be a huge improvement.

You can just dock and set it to your home station. Problem solved.

Create a jumpclone anywhere else in kspace, fly to Thera, dock, jump to the jumpclone in kspace. Bam! You know have a jumpclone in Thera.

Rorqual is provided as a game mechanic to bypass standings grind for JC. Only problem for a new player, is getting to know an older player who has one. The so-far proposed corp changes should make corporations and other players in general, more accessible.

This system sounds like fun. On a side note it could almost become a new area for mass testing things.
Goliath and I were talking about this actually, could be a possibility Smile

Please, don't. Current "mass testing" systems are arenas and are too crowded. Would be better to leave Thera for dedicated testing of its own features.

Nononononnnnno.
No insta-respawn deathmathes Evil, leave that stuff in other places instead of a fresh lore-oriented system.

In my opinion, even medical-cloning to Thera is a bad idea. IMO, only jump-cloning to Rorquals should be available, because it causes player-player interaction, and no automatic cloning and/or jumping.
I see Thera as a lawless port which you need to reach, not just hit a button and get there anytime.

The comment is more that there are more than two races that have frigates, and some of them don't have armor tanks. It would seem to make sense to have it be 50% Wolf Rayet/ 50% something shield focused.
