Which 980GTX would make me more a master of the PC race, Gigabit G1 or Zotac Amped edition?

Damn these master race world problems!

I ♥ my Asus GTX980 but out of those two listed I would go Gigabyte.

I don't think Zotac is quite a top tier manufacturer.

AFAIK Asus are more master-racey than gigabyte. GB posted a cringe generating image on their facebook a while ago.

but on a happier note, I just read a master race story about children of the master race.

this is just beautiful: It's not the hardware in your hands, but the software in your heart.

Should make the current ones cheaper, too.

This pleases me.

Advice please:

Ok, so i'm looking to buy a new PC, i have £1000/£1500 to spend. I can NOT be trusted to build it myself.

I've looked through some UK based sites that offer custom builds, which just fryed my head completely.

I need a monitor and keyboard, nothing fancy.

I'd like atleast 16 gig RAM, a 2 gig GC would be nice. I'm an Intel fan. (i dont know why).
I'd like to be able to play games without having to turn all the settings to low or off.

I play EVE, ED, Skyrim (type games).

I currently use a laptop, so quite frankly anything is going to be an improvement.
Also i wont be able to upgrade it for a while, so if the advice is to wait untill i have a bigger budget, speak up.

I'm not overly techy so will not be looking to add a gazillion monitors in the future.

Thanks in advance.

I like Milk.

Zimmy Zeta - I f*cking love martinis. the original ones, with gin, not that vodka martini crap. Your old Friends can use me for 7 days, free!!!

I recommend you start looking at choosemypc.net. this website offers easy selection of general variables like budget and OS inclusion - Windows.

It's a great place to start picking your build. note that it gives a recommendation from which you can make modifications yourself by writing down the components that you would like to change.

give it a go. choosemypc.net
