now i live in a system that has allot of people the speak German and every time one of them talk to me in local i have to use an out of game translator like Google translate and it get irritating using it .

now what i was thinking of is to a text translator built in to the chat box's UI and i say even use Google translate or some think like that in the UI and it translate in real time.

im not asking for something 100% accurate just something we can under stand each other

And you think the results would be different from using Google translator? This kind of automated translation does not work with our lovely slang, game specific phrases and terms and all the typos and grammar errors the players commit. It will help you the same way GT does now: barely or not at all.

Plus, it puts more development pressure on CCP in order to improve the system on their own and amplify it with special terms, phrases and so on, in order for the MT system to function more accurate.

Tell them to not speak "deutsch". Problem solved.

You assume that everyone speaks English. Why don't they ask you to speak German.

I'll never ask some one to speak my language if i have a way to translate, if they offer its fine. Otherwise its just rude.

Here are some other options:

  • Ignore them.
  • Hire a translator to sit next to you.
  • Get some German speaking friends to hang out on comms and translate.
  • Shoot the bastard for speaking an inferior language Roll
  • Learn German.

Why do you need to communicate with them on a daily basis if you don't share a language?
