Harpy issue

I havnt flyed harpy for several years. Now when I tryed it I found out that I cant hit anything from 150 km and even from 100 km.
Even if target is big, even if it is not moving, even when Harpy not moving. I remeber that before there wasnt such problem.

Can anyone tell me what happened?

A maximum range (and stacking-penalized) Harpy can only hit out to 107 km optimal with 12 km falloff. It also has trouble targeting anything beyond 100 km. There have been no reductions that I can recall to the Harpy's range bonuses, small railguns' range bonuses, or Spike range bonus, so I must conclude that it's been this way forever. 100 km is still a ridiculous range for a frigate, especially doing 110 dps at that range. Ed: Also at a tracking of 0.02 rad/s with frigate resolution, it should be able to hit anything from 100 km, short of a MWD'ing interceptor or a fast, small frigate with its AB on.

Are you sure you weren't thinking of a cruiser-sized platform, like the Eagle? Or maybe the Ferox/Vulture?

Thank you. No. I remeber well, back in 2007 - 2008 I was able to shoot from more than 100 km whithout any problem.
Ok Now I see. I have to be closer than 100.

You can still shoot more then 100km. You just can't do it with 7 year old fits and expect the same performance. As it is, you'll probably be better served with something other than a Harpy if this is your goal.

Did you use Tracking enhacers back then? Cause those got removed from the game about a year ago or two.

By "removed from the game", you mean "had their range bonus reduced by 33%". See here: https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=219330
