This is my version of a fair and predictable pyramid scheme, which I hope will be fun for all on MD. It can be seen as an intelligent form of lottery, where you weigh your chances. The money is redistributed among participants - early tickets will double your money, while the last tickets get only a minor refund.

How the pyramid works.
Each ticket costs 1 million isk. Each layer is roughly twice the size of the layer above it, starting with 10 tickets in the first layer.
There is no limit to number of tickets you buy.
Your win comes when the next pyramid layer below you is filled. Your win will be 2 million isk per ticket.

How the pyramid ends
The pyramid will close when no new tickets have been sold for 5 days, or when no layer has been filled for 10 days.
At the time of closing there will be players from 1-1½ layers that have bought tickets and not gotten a win yet, and these are the “losers”. All the money that came from tickets sold in the last layer will however be pooled and returned, so that these win-less players will share their loss. The money returned can be close to nothing, or it could in theory be almost 2/3 of the buy price of the tickets, but most likely it will be less than 1/3 of the buy price.

How does Cista2 make money on this?
I make the growth rate of layers slightly larger than doubling (10-20-45-100 etc). As more layers are added, this will provide the organiser a nice percentage profit along the way. I will take no percentage of the closing payout. In other words, I do not make money by ending this game, but by maintaining and repeating it succesfully.

Before I launched this minor project, I made sure to first pay back my 40 bn uncollateralised bond.

Size is 4500 tickets
4490 tickets out of the 4500 are left to buy.
1 million isk per ticket - send isk to Cista2 now.
Buy as many tickets as you want - you can buy into the next layer also.

Important! I will fill the layers in order of isk received to the Cista2 account, not in order of posts!
If you are anxious about getting into a specific layer, mark your isk transfer with “Only layer 3” or similar, and I will return your isk immediately if they did not get into layer 3.
