Booster Contracts

Open up contracts to allow the exchange of combat boosters; would make life much easier. Given that they are contraband, it doesn't make sense that you can currently sell them on the open market but not using contracts. It's like being able to sell illegal drugs in a 7-11, but not private under-the-table deals.

This restriction is seriously stupid.

I ran into a situation tonight where my usually carrier pilot was far away from my carrier and wanted to contract it over to another character and couldn't just because of drugs.

Literally a moment that made me go **** this game and log out.

It's especially stupid since you can make WTB contracts for drugs, but not WTS.

Lowering the average to make you look better since 2012.

can't imagine its intentional. Maybe a bug?

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Nice necro! Yer.....older thread but it didn't get as much attention as I think it should have. I can't see any reason for keeping this in it's current state.

Something being illegal requires someone to enforce it: most of space isn't like that anyways.

I'd love any change to boosters that resulted in more people buying/using them.

i could be wrong but i think the original idea was to keep from them being hidden in courier contracts and jf's getting blown up by concord or faction police in high sec

Yes/No. The reason you cant put contraband on contract is to prevent people from putting them into courier contracts and getting the freighter pilots ganked Blink

That's what a warning dialog is for that this contract possibly contains contraband along the route. You can even highlight anything that is contraband along the route. Drug running is a skill/profession, much like hauling general cargo is, there's no reason why it shouldn't be easier by allowing courier contracts for them.

Lowering the average to make you look better since 2012.
