Have a way that in the middle of warping to something that the pilot can do an emergency stop so that they come out of warp before they get to where they are going and because of slamming on the brakes at high speeds is not recommend and dangerous that ship would lose half its shield, half its armor, and half its hull.

This would be use full for those finding them self's warping to a gate camp or to some where they really don't want to go but doing so will cost them a nice repair bill or the chance of losing your ship if you get in a fight will someone after doing such a maneuver

Thoughts please

This has been a topic since the dawn of time, basically theres no way to do it without it being exploitable. And even if we could it removes a lot of the risk associated with Low/Null that is already too easy to evade.

For what it's worth, emergency pod eject?

Pod ejects from ship and de-accelerates from warp, ship lands at original destination un-piloted.

You should have enough control over your herd of cats to make them understand. If they constantly make misstakes, get better cats.

This I could get behind. It would still be broken in many cases, but it costs whatever the ship was every time. Just gotta make sure this isn't used to turn a ship into a warp cannon, as some ships with certain rigs and implants/etc would get up to a very high warp speed, and then exit warp moving very very fast if all those modules deactivated.

Talking more,

Flying crazier,

And drinking more

Making battleships worth the warp

However....
Would make pipe-bombing much less satisfying...
And my my, RnK make such lovely vids....

I'm conflicted about it. Seriously.
:x

On the topic of warp cannons, maybe I've misunderstood what you mean but

You push eject in-warp
Your ship continues on un-affected (i mean warp destination is pre-determind so I'd expect leaving warp speed pre and post ejection the same for simplicity's sake)
And your pod begins decelerating out of warp at its fastest possible rate.

Both ships would, as with normal warps, come out of warp at 0 m/s, run by me again what you mean by warp cannon?

You should have enough control over your herd of cats to make them understand. If they constantly make misstakes, get better cats.
