Add jumped-through wormhole as a 100% signature in destination

Just a little thing, but when jumping through a WH it ought to show as a scanned-out signature since you're sitting right next to it, rather than having to effectively scan yourself down to eliminate it from the list.

At first I thought this was going to be some ridiculous care-bear plot to become even safer running sites. Then I realized it was perfectly reasonable.

Because it's so hard to run a 2au scan on the position the system map is already centered on in order to eliminate the necessary contact.

Because having to so is the pinnacle of good game design.

Yes, a very good idea, there is no benefit in any way to it not being this way, It staying in an unknown state is just a vestigial mechanic.

you already have the location of the wh, so the sensors shouldn't ignore that

Really? How so?

At no other time, other than scanning, does any other signature auto-resolve to 100%, even if you warp directly to them using a Corp bookmark. If you leave a system, all signatures reset. Why should your wormhole be a special snowflake?

The current system makes complete sense if you realize that your scanning computer and your navigation computer, while slightly linked, are desperate systems, with your probes being a third system.

That's a good general extension of the idea, any signature you warp right next to should resolve, since you're sat next to it.

I'm conflicted on this one.
One part of me says "YES!!"
The other part of me says "Too lazy."
You spawn next to the wormhole, yes that does make sense. That also means you can Bookmark (that exists).
Also when you spawn next to the wormhole, and look in your system map, the location is already marked, though it's not warpable.
That drags me away from this

If you really want a criticism its one less reason to drop probes and announce yourself on dscan.

RP/Lore/whatever is a terrible way to decide anything because you can pull something out of your arse to justify any position.

Wormholes are the only thing you scan down that transports you to a different system. Your magic space computer should be bright enough to recognise the changes in the stars and go OH! lets bookmark this thing we just came through.

Both are equally fatuous and really have nothing to do with whether this is a good idea.

PS: Rest assured my navigation system does quite well for itself. Suspect my scanner pays for it but as long as it's happy, you know.

better idea is just to let it be so that your probes don't instantly go to the center of the system and rather scan where you launch them if you don't move them

but pulling things out of his arse 2 justify his own positions is the bread and butter of a Iain Carebeara post Lol

TBH current system makes no sence at all ... its like if you enter room with multiple doors and u have to look into building plan to see which door will lead you back by same way you came in ...

... you jump into system and righ next to you is big ball of whatever but you have to run your probes to actually find it ... so damn logical, right?

Like some others, I'm split on this....

On one hand it would make sense from one viewpoint and solve issues of warping off and having to re-scan it...

On the other....

Is that that hard to right click / radial menu -> Save Bookmark?

I like the idea, but I will remind you that there is a marker on the map already so you can scan it down almost instantly.
