I try not to drunk roam myself, but it's always funny to drunk roam with others.

But drunk playing is a lot of fun, at least on the occasions I have done it. What, Velator v Vindicator? Bring it on.

Never played EVE when I'm really wasted but I have played other MMO's and FPS that way.
Imho EVE requires too much forward planning to be a blast while being completely under, though we've had issues of capital pilots getting wasted and taking dreads to a spin (in a W-hole !???) and well on the morning furious rage rolling ensues. Lol

When you can replace ships faster then losing them, it doesnt matter if you are sober or not. Have fun.

Drunken eve is a thing.

Sober eve.... not so much.

I don't even think the devs were sober while making it... so playing it drunk is the way it was intended to be played.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

The best part is the next day. "Why do I have so many noobships scattered all over the place?"

Anyway, here's some theme music for your roam:
Korpiklaani - Happy Little Boozer
He sees himself as the saviour of the world
His will is strong and he's feeling good
Ive known him since the first taste of beer
I will meet him many times in a year
Happy little, Happy little, Happy little boozer...
He thinks he is the most famous guy
He smiles and laughs and he has a loud voice
He can be very nice he can be full of anger
He'll behave very well, right after misbehaving

Getting drunk and accruing a month's worth of jump fatigue is going to be the new 'forgot to upgrade clone and got podded'.

I can only FC when I'm drunk. if I'm sober I get paralysed by indecision and can't make any choices, good or bad, because I can't decide what's an acceptable risk and what's not. When I'm drunk, I don't care as much and can make risky decisions without worrying that they're too risky.

This has led to the occasional welp, admittedly...

Andreus Ixiris > A Civire without a chin is barely a Civire at all.

Pieter Tuulinen > He'd be Civirely disadvantaged, Andreus.

Andreus Ixiris > ...

Andreus Ixiris > This is why we're at war.

^^ there it is,
that's essentially it, this works for a few things like poker and pool (not snooker though) and talking to strange lady's in pubs

Something to be said about that, yup. When I'm buzzed my heart doesn't try to leap out of my chest the moment I'm engaged. I just focus on what I've got to do without having to worry too much about 'stuff'. Of course it also can play havoc with my judgement... 'Comet vs Vindicator? SURE, why not?'

Also, too much can lead to some chuckle worthy situations, such as probing down a wormhole because 'I wonder what is in here?'... and then forgetting to bookmark the exit.

Come hell or high water, this sick world will know I was here.

Yes, but being able to laugh at oneself's mistakes is kind of a prerequisite for laughing at those of others.
I had fun, that's what matters :)

not really , its more like waking up in a strangers house the morning after...but instead of offering a coffee and awkward small talk you get hunted mercilessly till they either kill you or you fall back asleep
