The bonus it gives is the same on every ship...Pilgrim or otherwise

You have to use both rig slots to save a tick, so not really.
Using targeting system subcontrollers can be more beneficial depending on the target, but not by much.

thats what i would have expected seeing as its only a 10% bonus but with two of these on my sensor recalibration time is 4.86 seconds down from 10 seconds.

I would like to see the math behind this. Because by my math, to end up at 4.86 seconds you'd have to start at 6 seconds, not 10.

dont ask me im just looking at the attributes info for sensor recalibation time when the module is fitted against when its unfitted

Don't forget that when unfitted there's nothing affecting the module, while when fitted there's skills, other modules, etc. So it's not just the two rigs making up that 5.14 difference, they're only giving you that extra 1.14 down from 6.

For which, if you're not running sensor boosters in your mid slots, you'll get faster lock times on most cruiser and under targets by instead using the scan resolution rigs.

Edit: probably other targets too, depends on a lot on your skills. I really suggest using a fitting program like EFT or PYFA to crunch the numbers for you.

i do use pyfa.

but tell me what skills affect sensor recalibration time?

Cloaking. 10% reduction per level, which on a covops cloak with a recalibration delay of 10s natively translates into the base figure everyone is using: 6s. Very few people bother training cloaking 5, but in that case you'd be looking at a 5 second base recalibration instead.

i see, this makes the rig wholley less appealing id rather have armor or something than 1.15 seconds faster last time...
