UI reset by latest patch

My UI has been completely reset by this latest patch, is there any way to restore it other than going to each and every window and jiggling it back to their original positions?

Also, is there a way to save my UI onto a external file so I wouldn't have to do this every time this happens?

I'm wondering the same thing. I got hit by this after today's patch but it's not the first time, got an error message saying I had to run the repair.exe. Well I'm back again but once again having to fix the UI. The Overview really takes some work, it seems like my last save didn't work right.

Got same issue on all my toons.
The profiles folder (C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\CCP\EVE\[EVE folder]\settings) is one big mess.

This happend with last patch and now again, it sucks to have to fix 5 clients every time CCP brings out a new Patch.

Is there a way to restore the old profiles??

Same here, and I know all my corp mates too.

Possibly the problem is that CCP employees actually playing EVE and noticing these issues, have a hard time sending feedback to whoever is in charge to fix/change these things.
I assume this because I refuse to belive that they can't manage to let us keep our settings after an update, doesn't seem a major issue to me (I don't have the faintest idea about programming, os I could be wrong), it should be just about keeping a .dat file instead of overwriting.
It's worth noting that they are currently changing some overview details, like the right-click menu, and maybe more, so that may be the reason because they have to overwrite the file. But again, it's a real pain in the arse for all accounts, it makes a lot of people waste a lot of time, they should consider finding a way to sort it out.

Same goes for the cache folder, I really wish the client would clear it by itself when needed, instead of forcing us to copy-paste some files unless we want to screw most settings.

BTW: We still love you CCP, it's just that all these little issues help making EVE as less user friendly as possible. Which can be good for some reasons, but a pain for others, namely increasing the player base.
