I wish that the big yellow PLAY button on the launcher would change to GAME IN PROGRESS.
Can't recall how many times I've launched another game by mistake, disconnecting the first game.
Yeah I know....bring it!

It's like that for a reason, it is useful on occasion.

My problem with the damn thing is it doesn't know how to check to see if there is an update when left open. I have launched the client multiple times only to have to close it and the launcher so that the patch can be applied. Roll

Yeah that is something it seems incapable of doing, also would like to see that feature added. Perhaps even a minimize to taskbar option so its always on and updating as needed without taking up space.

Just in case you didn't know. There is an option to have it close once the game launches. PITA for logging on multiple characters, but at least you won't log the same one twice.

Or you could just set the Launcher to CLOSE when Client is launched. That way it's not just sitting up there..

When in doubt, yank the wall plug on your tower. Certainty is well worth it.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

With the number of connection issues CCP has been having lately it's pretty useful to still have the play button showing.

Be a rebel and launch directly, without the launcher. Pirate

I hate it when I feel like playing Eve and then when I go to start playing Eve I accidentally disconnect myself from playing Eve because I forgot I was already playing Eve before I started playing Eve.

I don't judge people by their race, religion, color, size, age, gender, or ethnicity. I judge them by their grammar, spelling, syntax, punctuation, clarity of expression, and logical consistency.

Do what i did.... once the game launches simply pin the game executable to your windows bar (or look for "C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE\bin\exefile.exe" and make a short cut for that). You still need the launcher for updates. When u get a tranquility connect error with net connectivity and online TQ severs simply run the launcher to update. From there its back to business as usual. Good luck and happy flying.

Ask 'em what time it is, they tell you how to build a clock.
