Hail Capsuleers,

I will be running for a spot on CSM 10. I have been playing this game since 2003. I have been in all the top alliances, starting from ASCN. I have witnessed many changes to game mechanics and content to this game, that I love. I have been in Faction Warfare since conception, in 2010. I have been exclusive Amarr Militia. I am immensely happy in low sec and in FW, I will never go back to Null. I am pleased with the recent changes done to FW, thank you CCP. I also have some ideas that would add a more 'Faction Dynamic', ideas that would streamline low sec PvP, ideas that would add game content to increase invlovment, interaction, larger participation volume.
Those that know me from days past, those that have stood with me and those that have stood against can all testify that the terms 'Loyalty', 'Respect', and 'The Greater Good' are words that are never idly spoken of in my channels or fleets. I respect EvE. I am loyal to the Empire, and to my Capsuleers. My name is MOUDIB! I want to achieve the greater good....for my people and for yours. Long Live The Fighters!

A great man and great presence in Faction Warfare.
The FW Community needs to be more apparent and active, not getting lost in the shadow of 0.0's upcoming shake ups.
Just hope even those in opposing factions can see past bias and know Moudib will act in the interest of all Faction Warfare.

I can't think of a better FW/lowsec CSM candidate.
He understands the perspective of those who make FW their daily Eve game.

I don't know much about you, but why should I vote for you over DJFunkyBacon, or should I have both of you on my ballot?

Also, what is your opinion on the recent capital changes in Pheobe?

Here is our announcement: http://capstable.net/2014/12/01/council-of-stellar-management-x-call-for-candidate-interviews/

As we stated in the announcement, you can contact us to schedule your one on one interview via any of the following methods:

Email: podcast@capstable.net

Moudib:

Hmmm. Not much of an issues conversation started here, so let's see what discussion we can start.

Space has become littered with abandoned POS structures. What is your position on getting rid of them? I'd like to see, perhaps, a orbital degrading mechanic once the fuel is gone. This, then would open up the moons for pilots that will actually use them. The current mechanic, of course, involves Wardec-ing a possibly abandoned Corp and then sitting there for an extended period of time blapping the structures. I think something better is quite possible.

EVE seems to be popularly seen as more than a game, perhaps moving into the hobby realm. I'm aware that some discussions have been held with regard to finding a way to bring a more casual player or a more casual play-style option into EVE. Would you advocate this? If so, how might this be done without fundamentally changing the nature of the game? Would it?

It seems a given that CSM X and CCP will look at dealing with the SovNull question this term. Beyond that, from a gameplay perspective, what would you advocate as the next priority?

EVE players seem to be quite passionate about the game, yet it is said that the voting rate for CSM elections is lower than that of even the United States midterms. Does this diminish the validity of the CSM? What would you like to do to combat the voter apathy that we see and effectively educate the voters on the reality of what the CSM can effectively do?

Finally, and most importantly, do you like cats? :-)

Thanks much!

A few questions for you.

Do you feel that the recent changes to recon ships have put them in a better place and do you think that those changes have improved FW plexing or did they hurt it?

Do you think there should be some kind of range mechanic that doesn't allow ships to use boosters within a certain range of gates, stations or POSs?

What is your favorite thing about FW and what type of things does FW offer that other parts of the game doesn't?

Another question, why would it be sensible for any TLF FW pilots to vote for an Amarr candidate instead of one of the FW neutral low sec candidates?

Why does it matter if he's Amarr FW?

Not wishing to derail the thread too much it is a question of soft power.

I always enjoy reading your articles Seraph its a shame you don't discuss Low Sec much. You know that wars are not won by pilot skill and military might alone. My question is what is MD offering as an agenda for faction warfare and low sec that would make Minnie militia pilots vote for him despite the assumed downsides of an Amarr representative being on CSM for us.

Namely:

1) Amarr Militia having a direct advocate with the Devs

2) Amarr Militia gaining more publicity from a successful election campaign presumably boosting their recruitment

3) Amarr Militia having the opportunity to lobby for issues that may influence our warzones little eco-system in their favour (and by definition to Minni Militias disadvantage)

4) All the reasons why CFC pilots are unlikely to pick an NCDOT candidate as their first choice and vice versa.

In summary what is MDs election platform? Is he representing the interests of Amarr Militia or FW in general? If FW in general what would MD say to any TLF pilots who may be turned off voting for him due to his faction allegiance?

I would like your honest opinion on FW missions, their affect and influence in being able to single-handedly swing and sustain one factions hold over warzone dominance (i.e. see Amarr/Minnie WZ past 6 years) and the impact non-pvp pilots have in this regard.

I would like you to look past yourself, and your own interests in Isk generation, when I propose the possible Mission Acceleration gate restriction to tech 2 and tech 3 hulls from entering them and your thoughts on it. Thank you, Muad. May you be worth your water.

1. -Derelict POS- I would agree that a mechanic to would allow taking over or forcing a tower to degrade(if gone unfueled for a period) would be useful and have been discussed. A lot of people, including myself use 'holding' towers on moons to secure them for Militia/ Alliance use. Anything that opens up resources to players is good. Adding or changing a dynamic that allows for small corps/ organizations to be proactive and organized is good.
2. -Catering to 'Novice' style players- I would not advocating to adding game content or revamping mechanic platforms to suit a more 'lamen' player mentality. Having said that, i will point out that I am not turning a cold shoulder to new players. I encourage recruiting new players into FW. It is the best way to learn PvP. I new player in EvE is still amazed and intrigued with the game and the content, and that is an awesome thing. EvE is a game layered with information and content, and then you add the social and political facets to the game and it is very easy to get overwhelmed. EvE is not for everyone, and that is what makes those that remain so special.
3. -CSM Council Focus- My goal is to bring and maintain a voice advocating Low Sec PvP stability and interests in FW for all Factions. Null Sec has far too long been the focal point in EvE, and some of the greatest players and game play goes over looked and left to endure an outdated system. Just implementing a few small revamps to FW/ Low sec could add so much content and a more consistent mechanic that would attract more players and organization.
4. -Voter Education- Brother, honestly my game time is always occupied with Militia and Alliance OPS, Diplo, and chores. I am a slave to a list so long m8, it is even funny. I am going to have to pass the mic to CCP on that one. I think the responsibility of attracted voters and raising awareness for CSM would fall to CCP Devs. Perhaps they want voter awareness to be low, so they can control the vote...who knows, it is EvE. Do your part for Free Elections! Victor FW!
5. -Cats- YO! ♥ CATS! I have two outside that are huge, jungle feral hybrids, and one inside that holds it down. Cheers!

1. -Recon Changes- I am in favor of the class changes. It adds a new depth to the class and adds tactical content to FW.
2. -Booster range- I am fine with the current mechanics for boosters. Attention needs to be applied to other areas.
