Ganking freighters and JFs where the result would be the entire destruction of your ganking ship used to be an annual event. So yes unless you were stupid enough to fly it through space when a war dec was active or something even more ridiculous this type of game play didnt exist.

I think the problem lies in that there is nothing a JF or Freighter pilot can do to defend themselves.

Don't bother tanking your freighters guys, they'll be perma-bumping your ship and hitpoints are irrelevant when they have all the time in the world. Web with an in-corp alt, warp to 0, or stay away from jita.

How can they gank my freighter pilot when he always has a scout, warp to 0 BMs on trade stations, is tanked, and has instant-undocks?
