Generally okay.

I wonder, though, if the "You need to destroy all hostiles in the vicinity" does not give away too much info - by its very absence in those cases where you actually do NOT need to.

Part of the fun was to find out - sometimes by egging it - that fighting all the hostiles off was not the most clever way to solve the mission. If that icon is missing, I would know at once to stop shooting and try something else.

Info panel additions seem like a really good idea.

I will warn CCP though that a lot of new players have a problem with the agent info panel getting hidden, and they have no idea how to un-hide it.

I certainly don't want it to open on its own, but I suggest perhaps making the info panel toggle icon at the top of the screen a more obvious bright colour when a mission is active, but please no blinking.

Changes sound good, but I hope the mission briefing texts themselves stay. They contain alot of neat little lore parts or fun quotes. The descriptions & briefings also add to Eve's grimdark feel.

I wonder if this will fix "objective in ore hold" bug. If not - this problem will be even more visible.

Also, please, fix ore amount for level 4 mining missions with ore (ofc if you want people completing them at all)
Currently it's easier to skip everything that is not gas or ice. Because, you know, boring mining is even more boring and non-profitable when you have to return to dungeon couple times and slowboat to asteroid.

Disappointing at best.

I was a noob once (some might still say I am) and I made it this far. Really is it that difficult?

This just seems like more needless fluff to me but if it helps the helpless or the ones that are not able to help themselves and keeps some happy then I am fine with it I guess.

‘No, this isn't it at all. Make it more... psssshhhh’.

Great change. Hopefully ill stop forgetting the damsel going forward. Words cannot do justice to the annoyance of making several jumps docking in the station then cannot complete the mission cuss you forgot to scoop her up...

Most of the proposals are ok-ish, but about as extreme as I could tolerate.

But automatic camera focus on the mission objective? No, please no. You might just as well put up a button marked 'Click here to complete mission'.

Right, so with dumbing down of eve your now allowing any active account to unlimited (basically) training, changed all the reprocessing, allow all of hi sec harassment and bumping as fair play, revamp of all manufacturing and research, making most skills to level 5 a thing of past, and don't allow freighters mid slots or rigs, or any capacity to defend themselves.
Your moving toward the end game, lets just make it happen. Select the top 15% of SP players to get jovian technology and let us wreck eve, or....just keep chipping away at it bit by bit.

I hope while you all are fixing up the mission system you also add in the missing agent pics like that guy in Tar during the SoE missions that doesn't have one.

When the objective is a specific object, allow players to "ctrl + click" on the hint icon to lock the target objective.

I shudder to think of the amount of work revamping the mission system is going to require, but this is a good first step. Onwards!

This is very nice, I think it will help keep mission runners on multiple toons from having to keep the mission log open just so they dont forget what they were doing on that toon. I'd -like- if it displayed the destination system for that leg too, but beggars and choosers.

Good work. Like it in general.

Answering the question of what info should and should not be handed to the players on a silver platter:
I think this is a great opportunity for some extra immersion. Only give capsuleers info that their agents would logically have. This can still include pointing to a specific object for destruction for example. Especially if the agent is in contact with the capsuleers and recieves visuals from them.
