Industry window - copy & paste

Is there any reason why we can't copy & paste from the Industry window, like we can from the Inventory window?

For instance, we are getting credits for researching corp BPOs based on number of days spent. It would be useful to copy & paste the history into a spreadsheet for easy calculation.

Also the ability to copy the amounts from the material requirements would make buying appropriate amounts a lot more convenient.
