So I put together this fit for a reteriver

Strip miner I x2
Medium F-S9 Regolith Shield Induction
Co-processor II
Damage Control II
Medium Core Defene Economizer I
Medium Core Defence Extender I x 2

I imported my skills into eft and it says i should get 7405 ehp.
But in eve I only get 6176 ehp. That is a approximately a 1300 ehp difference. Any idea why the difference? Is eft bugged?

Btw I know its an expensive fit for a reteriver but i like the lols i get from failed suiciders. Also does anybody have a better fit with more ehp?

Thanks in advance.

I don't play, I just fourm warrior.

EFT reports EHP based on taking damage from all four damage types equally.

EVE reports 'worst case' EHP -- that is to say, your EHP if you were being hit by your lowest resist.

The difference is in how EFT and EVE calculate EHP. As I recall, EVE calculates using the lowest resistance whereas EFT calculates using a damage profile that you give it. This defaults to an even distribution of damage and will give a slightly higher EHP by default. You can also change this damage profile in EFT and get a more accurate idea of how different ships will fare against you.
