The Stockpile edit dialog is very complicated, but, also very powerful.
Maybe the GUI could have been done better, though.

I was wondering if it would be hard to implement another import option in the stockpile window ? In the Eve Online industry window you can right click on one of the arrows next to a BPC/BPO and choose 'copy material information', which lists the material in your clipboard similar to the way the IPH import option does which is already present in jEveAssets right now but with different formatting.

Got a question about how item min/max purchase values are calculated, I get the impression there done from 'all time purchases' instead of 'per item'. I have this line on one of my assets:

Max/Min/Last Purchase is calculated from your own buy order for each item type.
Max is the maximum price you have paid for that item type.
Min is the minimum price you have paid for that item type.
Last is the price of the newest order for that item type.

I hope that explain it well enough, if not, just reply and I will answer the best I can :)

EDIT:
Once the orders is gone from the API (and jEveAssets), they will not be part of the calculation anymore...

Awesome program! I seem to have an issue with it, however, where it's showing me things I don't have anymore. For example:

This seems like something we may once have had, but we don't have any corp market orders at all, nor any assets left in that particular system. Is there a way to force it to only show things that were pulled as of the last successful update for that char/corp without deleting my whole data / history?

Hello,

Today i started to have problems with jeveassests.

When im trying to run it, im getting error: Java run out of memory, run jmemory to fix issue

I did run it, no help.

I tried to reinstall java, still nothing.

Weird thing is that i tried to run in on different PC, and the result was the same...

Found some more stuck stuff. I just updated (successfully) all my characters through API. However Assets is showing me a bunch of Mega Pulse Laser IIs in a Contract > Sell. This is a contract that I made about 10 days ago. It has long since been accepted by another one of my characters, and the ship that has those guns moved off to somewhere else.

They do show properly in the new location, as equipped on HiSlot0-7, but there's also ghost copies of them in the old system.

You need to use jmemory.jar to run jEveAssets every time.
It simply starts jEveAssets with a larger "head size" (or in English: Access to more memory).
If you're running out of memory when you're use jmemory.jar, I'm pretty sure it must be a jEveAssets bug, as it starts it with access to 4 gigabytes of RAM. jEveAssets should never use that much RAM, under normal use. Maybe, if you add 20+ accounts, you could get close.

You should be able to run it the same way, you run jEveAssets.
If you already tried that, then we need to debug it.

I assume you're on windows?

If you could try running jmemory.jar with the following command:
java -jar jmemory.jar > debug.txt
From the cmd line or a batch file, then send me the debug.txt file to my email (see the bug report link in my last response)

First, thanks for fixing the problem I had previously (Crius compatibility for manufacturing jobs). I should have thanked you sooner, but better late then never I suppose.

I'm now noticing another issue, and I wonder if this is basically caused by how the EVE API works.

The problem is the following:

- I previously updated jEveAssets less than 24 hours earlier
- I completed a huge (5 bil) manufacturing job and moved these assets to my personal hanger at a trade hub
- I put a small bit of the output on the market (I never push huge stacks on the market at once)

Result: ~4.5 bil loss in total value according to the tracker

The theory I have is that the assets lists may be cached for ~24 hours or so? (at least for people with huge assets list: over 10k unique items in mine)

In that case I think what might be happening is that the value of the manufacturing job remains visible until it is completed and after this the value of the sell order is also still visible (both have short cache times?). But because I ran jEveAssets less than 24 hours earlier, the asset list is still the same, meaning that until the next update the remaining items will be invisible.

Is this logical? Or is there maybe another explanation?

The cache time for assets is 6 hours, however, if multiple applications use the same API Key, the cache time in jEveAssets may be incorrect.

It's really hard to tell why you're missing ~4.5 bil, It could also be price changes. With 10K assets, small changes can add up.

You should check if it's included in the asset list or not, that is the only way to be sure. If it's a single stack, it should be really easy to find :)

Remember you can edit or delete tracker points, if you do not like what you see...

I forgot to mention that I did indeed check the assets list and it was missing there.

I just did another update, and now of course the data has updated so the total isk value (in the tracker) is normal again (and it now does show up in the assets list), the only thing is that the graph looks a bit weird now...

Then it's most likely an API cache problem as you suggested yourself.
But, we'll never know for sure, as, we can never get the API return, where the assets were missing, again...

The graph can be edited: Double click on the point you want to edit.

Just want to say excellent tool, and has been extremely valuable in sorting and determining what I can sell and reprocess at a given update.

Just wanted to ask about the container column. Is there a way to see the container "Set Name" vs the name given. ex. Enormous Freight Container #1016124689354. This would make it considerably easier when tracking down various items during my searches.

Maybe I am just overlooking something. Thanks in advance

I'm not 100% sure I understand the question (sorry).

You can rename containers in jEveAssets:
1) Do a or b
2a) Right click on an item you know are in the container you want to rename. Select "Name" > "Edit Container"
2b) Right click the container you want to rename. Select "Name" > "Edit"
3) Enter the name and press OK
Now the container column will show the name you set, for that container...

solved by deleting the user data
