Most of the stuff I play runs a bit better with nvidia so I just tend to stick with them.

Those new GTX900 series cards seem to have a pretty reasonable TDP, gonna pick one of those up soon and replace my aging AMD CPU/motherboard as well.

My storage system, memory and power supply are all less than a year old. I guess it will basically be a whole new computer here soon. Lol


My over-volted and heavily overclocked 280X does this. The room will get a few degrees warmer when it's taxed heavily (Metro Last Light anybody)Smile I've owned both green and red over the years, usually buy whatever performs the best overall in my particular price point as I play many different game on and off. I'd have to say if I were getting a new card now, it would likely be the GTX 970. That thing is probably the best price/performance card ever made! But, I'm hoping to use this one through another generation yet, though the way the new console ports use V RAM may make that difficult.

I'm still borderline fine with an i5 760 CPU and a GTX 460 "v1" 1GB GPU Ugh
(but 16GB RAM and 11TB storage space) Twisted

On the redeeming side, my 4+ year old PC is still faster than an XBox One, so... Lol
