I would only support a jail/court system if....

1.) we could have a module to capture/drag pods back to a station
2.) Jailing meant a character lockout or something...time dependent on a player based jury system of offended peers or something (look up archeage...but make a better court system)

or
3.) if properly linked one day....we can use dust toons to board like say -10 criminals in highsec...and i then get a privateer commission on their vessel if successfully captured intact.

4.) in lieu of jail time...gankers have to mine x number of rocks before being allowed in a combat ship....and i dont know...miners are forced to gank x number of times.

Diplomacy, fast talk and so on will help massively.

Yep, SoE epic arcs as well. Afaik this is the only one that gives faction standing increases without derived (negative nor positive) modifications to the other factions. AND faction standing award can be shared with fleet members, so grind those alts Big smile

Well, I suppose it isn't necessarily a bad suggestion. I think that if CCP was to add something like this, there would definitely need to be some sort of subsequent consequence. For instance, if you are serving jail time/community service in the way you are asking for it, there would need to be something like a skillpoint decomposition. Skyrim has a feature like that, where you lose progress to the next level of some of your skill trees when serving jail time.

However, we're now talking about stealing parts of another game and putting them into Eve, which I don't think should happen. Eve is Eve, not Skyrim or anything else. I'm gonna have to side with most of the others and say -1. Congratulations on being a new citizen of New Eden. The welcome isn't very warm and the learning curve is a b**ch. Sounds to me like you learned a valuable lesson here. EVERYTHING in Eve has consequences. Go grind yourself back up to good standings with the Gallente, and from now on, pay attention to what the consequences are for different actions. That way you don't have to worry about dealing with consequences that you don't want to deal with.

Side note: Aside from running lvl 1 missions to grind your standings back up, you can also kill rats in Gallente space for small increases to your Gallente standing. You....should be aware that "small" is a bit of an understatement, however.

You are one of those people that will make me need glasses before I turn 40. Format your post!

And not supporting. You still have access to two high-sec areas (assuming your security status is okay).

ah yes one of the forum trolls that can be bothered to read...then dont post
I have 20/20 at 29 and easily ready the fox space news post in the crime section.

To the guy that says running missions when you get bad rep to do level 1s. I was going to do that with a character i was going to rebalance standings i was going to need over 1500 lvl 1 missions......

But you do knowm, that after 4 or 5 storyline missions you can do level 2 missions or you could repair your standing by ratting in lowsec, right?

Lowsec battleship rats (Serpentis) will rep you up in notime.

Eve Minions is recruiting.

This is the law of ship progression!
