My score is either going to be 0 or pretty high depending on how the test is done.

Edit:

Your results indicate an above average score on emotional intelligence.

What Does Your Score Mean?
People with a better than average score on emotional intelligence tend to be good at interpreting, understanding, and acting upon emotions. They are usually quite good at dealing with social or emotional conflicts, expressing their feelings, and dealing with emotional situations.

Some of the questions were written pretty badly, but that's to be expected given that it's on a random psychology site. I give this test a 5/10.

Edit 2: Yeah, this site is pretty hokey. Their section on IQ made me cringe.

Still, looks like an highly inaccurate test to me.

I'm frustrated that the results are not based on a numbered score.

Emotional Intelligence would be EI. The "Q" in "IQ" stands for quotient.

Since I'm done being pedantic, I'll have a look at it now.

One of ours, ten of theirs.

Got above avarage. Really surprised by it tbh. I tend to be a more logical/rational person.

But honestly I feel that the test is rather vague.

Even if you're more rational/logical than emotional, you should be able to infer the other person's emotions and respond appropriately from a list of options to deal with them. With that said, some of the test questions had no right answer for me in the sense that responding appropriately would be griefing myself, so I chose option A) for ******* on those, muddling the score.

Basically, it's a bad test.

Yay, another 15-something internet questionaire with four possible closed answers each.

That sure will correctly evaluate something as simple as a human being....

People who score high on emotional intelligence tend to be skilled at interpreting, understanding, and acting upon emotions. They are adept at dealing with social or emotional conflicts, expressing their feelings, and dealing with emotional situations.

It's important to remember that no matter how good your score is, there is always room to improve your emotional intelligence. Consider areas where you are not as strong and think of ways that you can learn and grow. Take stock of your strong points and find ways to continue to develop and apply these skills.

Damn..those were really, really stupid questions...
I am slowly getting the uncomfortable feeling that I cannot trust 15-item internet personality tests anymore...I mean, what is this world coming to, when I cannot even blindly trust a random stranger to access my personality within 2 minutes over the internet? Ugh

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.
