So after last nights DDos I couldnt sign back into this account. I've tried again today reset cache, settings etc as well as repairing the launcher, no joy. I seem to make it online since my buddies tell me they can see me signed into corp. However the game screen is black and all I see is email notification.

The strange thing is I can sign into other characters no problem, just one character.

Has anyone suffered with this?

LOL - the troll gets trolled and then tries to wave a white flag saying OP wrote something "stupid expect a stupid reply".

I'm not sure what the OP wrote was stupid but in the world of the Eve forum there are many "bog trolls" who just have nothing better to do than to lay mines in the hope someone might step on one and provide them with all their fanny flicking that they need.

I had a similar problem a while ago. Tried clearing cache, settings, launcher etc just like you did and didn't help either. Had to completely remove and reinstall the game for it to work again (including user preferences). Make sure you use the latest version of the installer from the website since I used an old one first and it still didn't work. With the latest installer everything worked fine again though.

Don't kid yourselves. Even the dirtiest pirates from the birth of EVE have been carebears. They use alts to bring them goods at cheap prices and safely, rather than live with consequences of their in game actions on their main, from concord to prices
