Nope I would have said exif if that is what I was referring to.

If you don't know how the IP address of the viewer can be obtained and then used for metagaming purposes, that's a very good thing from my perspective.

I'm guessing you also click the unsubscribe links in any SPAM you receive.



ok mr. im so smart. And no i dont have anything to do with most emails I receive and am aware that the email is not addressed to me but rather to whatever mail server that then forwards it out to all the addresses it's responsible for.

I'd like to be able to quickly and easily follow certain posters here, I used to do this by having them in my contacts and then hitting view posts.

I like the design improvements. These forums look really slick. Only EvE players could find something to complain about with this design. I'd like to see anyone link better looking forums anywhere else on the 'net.

Very buggy. Among other problems, i need to restart in a new window every time i change the account or i cannot see the profile or last posts of any of the chars in the second account - it keeps opening the profile window for the past character i have used.

Hell no. Only Firefox I'd ever use is an ESR. Latest available is 31.x. But to be honest I'm still hooked on 24.8. The 31.x ui is just terrible.

And I'm not going to use Opera. No way.

It's really helpful to be able to click on character and/or title on topics you get notifications for - please put this back.

For some reason Evegate is showing the old notifcation system alongside the new forum one?

Not able to find DevBlogs easily - and also public profile contact settings (I just spent a few trying to locate them) as they seem to be hidden back in Evegate. Which isn't great. I'm aware this is the first stage in a development cycle, but burying DevBlogs and part of the forum settings which can be a significant ingame security issue for some isn't ideal. Roll out phase 2 asap.

I'd also prefer to chose my own background, nice though this new one is. Not for trolling alt etc, but when logging in and out alts to reply to mails/posts away from desktop the backgrounds help me figure out which I'm on if interrupted (as do the overlay settings ingame).

Also the notification icons (new post/locked etc) are buggy for me, but have been on and off for ages - using an uptodate Firefox.

If you mean I have issues with a forum that hasn't work correctly since release, yea you are right.

But then it is 2014 and forums are hard. Even ones based on YAF apparently.

to be specific, it's a rule in fanboy's social blocking list. you can disable the one rule without having to disable the filter or adblock.
