Personally I hope that the independent researcher wins.

Unfortunately I do not have the funds to contribute.

finding and buying neural network analysers to donate them to the faction of my choice.

At first I thought it'd be winning easily ...
... then it turned out that - for some people - basic arithmetics are hard science ...
... and now it seems that the faction of my choice is winning again.

To make sure of that,
I have donated over eighty thousand neural network analysers to the caldary navy agent!

Everything for the state, right? ;)

That's, I believe, a huge pile of NNAs ...
... but I have no doubt that there are others who have bigger ones.

And you?
Who did you donate to ... and how many?

Thanks!

Caldari will win and then everyone will just buy state secrets for fractions of isk. What I bet my money on.

The final tally,

- Independents lead by Guillome Renard - 287.232 Research - 5th place

- Gallente Federation Navy - 435.734 Research - 4th place
Top donator & Title granted : Honorary Federal Harbormaster Shipstorm

- Caldari State Navy - 767.014 Research - 3rd place
Top donator & Title granted: Honorary Brigadier of Engineers TorDog

- Minmatar Republic Fleet - 857.310 Research - 2nd place
Top donator & Title granted: Honorary Fleet Architect Lotrec Emetin

- Amarr Imperial Navy - 936.960 Research - 1st place
Top donator & Title granted: Honorary Fabricator General Ascentior

Looks like it turns out to Amarr Victor. Caldari landed third, only topping Gallente & the independents.

If you want to know more; 'The result of the YC116 Sleeper data research race!' where it is also explained that the Sleeper research data is used to finalize a new set of advanced ships, the tech 3 destroyers. As Amarr gathered the most Sleeper data, they'll be able to work out the flaws & error in the technology first, as these ships use sleeper-tech as part of their development.

Thank you, Ms. Sol, for your generous contribution.
Even that we didn't win this race, we still have shown gallente their place - last place, is what they deserve.
I am sorry for not considering 'independent' as taking the last place: you did excellent work, and I wish you outrun gallentes too, but, unfortunately, I don't think that independents can fully use the potential of the findings like our Empires can.
Thus I will consider, that the worst place was given to gallenteans.

Good job, everyone!

I find myself in need of a stick. I see you have one.

Can I borrow it?

After you've cleansed and disinfected it, of course.

As grating as it is, the Amarr are incredibly zealous and have in their possession a great conviction. They also tend to be more charitable especially if it ensures glory to their creed. Their victory is grating but unsurprising.

Though predictable, it saddens me that what the Empires apparantly aimed to accomplish with all that technology from the Sleepers - A civilization who's highest achievements (virtual reality AI, etc) seem to based around attempting to give their people a truly excellent quality of life more then anything else - was building yet another weapon for their loyalists to murder eachother with.

No one cares, everyone knows the caldari will sell their secrets if it means getting a few more isk than the other guy. I'll buy the ships and tech and so will the other empires. That or salvage wrecks from amarr.

Respectfully Ms. Kathis, nothing could be further from the truth. The Caldari people and the mega corporations themselves put an immense amount of stock in the secrets we keep.

Our limited population in relation to the other three Empires is incredibly small, as such we put a large amount of stock in our technological superiority. It's our way of keeping scales balanced.

For example our Soltour-Class(?) Titan (not the one disseminated for capsuleer use) to this day remains shrouded in mystery. The origins of the States Scorpion-Class battleship is still heartily debated by parties. These are of course just a few of many other examples. The mega corporations themselves have very active espionage/counter-espionage departments, as corporate theft if often a legitimate threat from other Caldari Corporations as much as outsiders.

I can see how this can be misunderstood however. As Capsuleer we interact well outside the day to day lives of our kinsmen who do not share our gifts. Interacting with Caldari capsuleer you may find is frequently will to trade information for monetary reward. But you must remember the ships and technology we have access to is already been vetted for widespread dissemination. So while it might look like trade secrets. I can assure you they are not.

Anyway, hope that was helpful.

Kind regards.
