History making moments of the Vegas stream

Lets start with saying 'Thank You' Lazarus Telraven!

What i thought was going to be a dull session about yet another fleet commanders 'this is the only way how to do it right' became the most entertaining WTF moment for the next hour - so i repeat myself: Thank you so much for great laughs!

For those who didnt see it - its the part between 01:08:30 and 01:09:45 of yesterdays stream.

The tl;dr or tl;dw version:

Wonderful slide stating:
- Learn to trust your peers
- Ask for help
- refrain from mindset 'I have to do everything myself...'

That just looked fine - if it hadnt been followed by the next slide and the now famous words:

'Multiboxing. If you are going to be a successful FC you should learn how to multibox.'

I do believe this breaks any record of contradicting one self in the shortest period - ever!

No contradiction.

Being both open to ask for support/giving orders to others ...
... and being able to fly a multiboxed fleet ...
... gives one perspective of more than one side.

Something most people lack. Understanding,
that there is more to things than they are willing to see.

That ringing in your ears you're experiencing right now is the last gasping breathe of a dying inner ear as it got thoroughly PULVERISED by the point roaring over your head at supersonic speeds. - Tippia

Oh my - read again: I even highlighted the contradicting parts. Multiboxing is the mother of the mindset 'I have to do things myself...'

Yea log more clients in because not responding servers make everything better.

Maybe instead of talking **** they would fix the engine already. Then maybe few hundred ppl could play this game instead of watching lag. Then start talking about multiboxing.

Yeah, read my post again ...
... and you'd see that I am saying that knowing "both" is better than "one or the other".

There is a mindset beyond "this" or "that". It includes "both".

Interesting concept, what is the message here? Combat mechanics lacking, just multibox to compensate?

Whats next? Economy broken, just buy PLEX ?

If you would watch the stream you would see the point - i left it out intentionally as watching the stream itself is better than me repeating all of it. But to cater for you: The words where followed by him showing how he is running 4 clients and ISBoxer on his main. So i dont disagree with your 'general' point - it simply doesnt apply to this actual happening ;)

I closed the stream when he was starting to ramble about ISKboxer being mandatory and "oh look! Ofc I have a Titan!" *Epeenstroke* .

I guess they couldn't help a sales ploy. If we ALL got another account in order to be the good little commanders they envision, then of course their sales would DOUBLE! MY MY MY! That's why I always pushed for them to meet in Vegas. It's a perfect environment for their style of corporate mentality. I can see the group imagining DeNiro playing them.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

Trust would spread further if CCP would finally fix broken corp role system, it needs iteration badly. Too bad they are only interested adding more shineys...
