Fighter drones agro mechanics

Can some tell me way normal drones agro all the time, jumping from target to target, and fighrt drons agro only the first one and than say idle?


there was some specific reason for that?

Because FCON leadership doesn't want you to AFK rat with fighters.

Happy to help.

The real answer lies somewhere in CCP's code. Drones and Fighters behave differently in many ways, so to some extend they have different code. This particular case may be intended or unintended behavior, who knows.

I have tried ratting with fighters and it would be nice to put out the full damage potential of a Thanatos, but as you've noticed it requires a lot of manual effort. I use Geckos now. No effort, good results.
